Thank you so much! Give it a try and it's really easier than you think. For a good blending of colours like the hibiscus I would recommend cold pressed watercolour paper. If you don't have that handy just go ahead with any watercolour paper you have ☺️❤️
There are yellow foxgloves from what I looked up for reference, but this particular yellow is to make this set of floral painting to be visually appealing. The intention was not to exactly replicate the flower 😊
Yes please give it a try! I would recommend a cold pressed watercolour paper, as the coarse texture is good for the colours to blend. If not just go ahead with any watercolour paper you have☺❤
Thank you I will. I’ve never attempted to paint, but always loved to doodle or sketch. By no means am I good, but I do enjoy it! I’ll keep you posted lol!!🎨
Beautiful paintings. Would it be possible to tell us the name of paint colors (for example, indigo blue) you use for those of us who are new to watercolor painting. I am using Windsor & Newton paints and knowing the colors you use will help me figure out which of my colors best match yours. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much! For the first Pansy I used Cobalt blue, Permanent violet, Purple, Cold pink + Permanent violet, Black and Yellow orange. For the second Pansy I used Lemon yellow, Permanent violet, Purple, Yellow orange. For the leaves Viridian and Olive green. Couple of tips 1. Swatch all your paints and then in a scrap paper mix colours and play around. Its a good exercise for beginners to familiarise with colour mixing. 2. Please dont restrict yourself to using only the colours you see on the tutorials. Learn the techniques from the tutorials but use your own choice of colours for unique creations. This will expand your creativity. Hope this helps. Feel free to comment any questions or feedback ☺❤
Thank you so much! For the petals I used black, with the brush holding lots of water and barely touching the black, creates this soft grey. But if you have Payne's grey that works as well. For the Daisy center I used Chrome yellow (Medium yellow for Winsor & newton), Yellow ochre and Brown (you can use Burnt umber instead also). For the leaves Viridian with a touch of Yellow ochre (watered down for the larger leaves and more saturated for the smaller leaves
Love this painting. It’s beautiful. 🌷🌷🌷 I am from Holland. I was 12 years old when we moved to Canada. These tulip fields in Holland are amazing. Love the windmills too. ❤️🤍💙
Easy watercolor landscape painting for beginners of the iconic Tulip fields perfect for Spring. Are you from or been to Netherlands and have seen these beautiful fields? or have beautiful flower fields (does not have to be Tulips) where you are from? Let me know in the comments 😊

Thank you so much! I don't use any references while recording the painting process.. but i do test paint to decide the colours and the layout, during test painting I find reference for flowers that I haven't painted before 😊
Hi Alice, I am new to your channel and just love it. Would you mind naming the colors you use for each flower so I can match them to the paints I have. I am just starting out painting and can use all the help I can get. You give me confidence that I can do these flowers. I love your technique. Thanks so much. Phyliss
Thank you so much Phyliss! So glad to know you are starting out watercolour painting 😊 Here are the colours used for each flowers. Poppies: no.32 Red, no.31 Cadmium scarlet, no.40 Lemon yellow for the flowers. no.46 Burnt Sienna, no.20 Black for the dark center. no.53 Sap green, no.46 Burnt Sienna for the stem. Mimosa: no.40 Lemon yellow, no.44 Yellow ochre for the flowers. no.53 Sap green, no.55 Viridian, no.46 Burnt sienna, no.20 Black for the stem. White Freesia: no.64 Ultra marine for the flowers with a bit of no.40, Lemon yellow and no.44 Yellow ochre for the center. Stem I used the same mix used for mimosa leaves. Cherry blossoms: no.32 Red, no.31 Cadmium scarlet for first layer, no.36 Rose madder deep, no.32 Red for the darker second layer. For the stem no.46 Burnt sienna, no.20 Black, no.32 Red. Hope this is helpful. Go for it! :)
Omg those flowers are all sooo gorgeous! I've never been good with watercolor and struggle with it not looking all muddy/messy but I decided to get back into it again, so this video is a heaven sent. Thank you! ❤
Thank you so much! Appreciate it! So glad to know that you are deciding to get back into watercolour again! One tip I would give to avoid the painting to get muddy is to use the same colour with different saturation to achieve gradient using wet on wet technique and wait for it to fully dry and then add the new contrasting colour, like the Daffodils. Hope that helps. Go for it! 😊❤️
