Our mission at Motorcycle Riders Hub is to help and develop riders at all levels. A dedicated online training platform that improves riding skills from learning to ride for the first time and to advanced riding techniques.
LEARNER RIDERS We specialise in giving learner riders a dedicated online learning programme. Get a head start before your CBT to learn how to operate a motorcycle and understand how to ride on the road. It will help develop new riders with video education that allows them to understand how to ride safely.
PASS THE MOTORCYCLE TEST This online eLearning platform gives video lesson guidance and support, with all the tips and secrets on how to pass the test. The Module 1 Course gives an in-depth look at each exercise. The Module 2 Course prepares riders for the on-road test.
FULL LICENCE HOLDERS For riders with a full motorcycle licence we specialise in helping riders understand all the principles of advanced riding techniques. The best start to your riding journey.
I Passed Wednesday, so nervous I tripped over a cone in the car park walking to my bike…..I genuinely thought I’d failed before I got on the bike 🤣 …..if your school said you’re ready you’re ready…YOU GOT THIS 👊🏼✊🏽👊🏼
This it what happened to me! One question if not doing slow maneuvers just going around the corner like 30 or 40 km and covering rear break little bit, do you use clutch as well? I only use friction zone at slow maneuvers or pulling away or stopping is that ok?
Loved watching that Mod 2 video. So concise and clear to follow. Exceptional riding from the “student” and in my humble opinion a clear pass with absolutely no minors that I could pick up on. He looked in total control and was very safe.
I’ve been told I have to do both shoulder checks before/ after stopping, manoeuvring etc along with a lifesaver- even pulling out of the test centre… which seems a hell of a lot- whereas this rider doesn’t seem to do that only one over shoulder every now and then and some life savers
Hi, If you are turning right on a roundabout whereby two lanes turn right, would you still indicate right irrespectively? As I am getting confused on how to approach the 'outter' right hand lane - it would feel, to me, that to indicate right, the persons in the 'innermost' right hand lane may feel that I am cutting them up? Some roundabouts have two right hand lanes with specific road markings. After passing the 12 o'clock mark in this instance, would I simply cancel my right indicator until my exit is up, by which I'd indicate and lifesaver left to come off? This is what would make sense to me. What would the expectation be on MOD 2 for this? Thanks
I assume these rules apply to riders in countries that drive on the left, and for countries that drive on the right they would be switched the other way around. It might be good to mention this as this video is watched in many countries.
Lifesaver is just turning your head to look over your shoulder. It's to make sure there is nothing in the mirror's blind spot and you don't manoeuvre into something passing you.
Im 60 just faild cbt twice in 1 week eny 1 my age shoud see how there balance is it aint as easy as a lot of people say all so id check the yard out i was in very close contact with walls and a building i never rode a motorcylc in my life its bloody nerve racking ex hgv driver 20 years excelent vidio
No, it is not easy. There are many training schools with poor training areas and a low standard of training. Research before you choose a training school.
Can't help but think the mod 2 and "new" riding is a little BS. Allowing riders to cross the white line when there are parked cars on the left. Yet NOT allowing them to use position 3 (or 5 in old school) as it's deemed a new rider doesn't have the required skill set to use position 3. Seams a little double standard. a learner and new rider should NOT be off siding unless there is NO option to do so. travelling passed parked cars, the rider should be able to show good observation skills and speed control to pass them without fault.
Easier preferred method: -Clutch in, front brake in, left foot on the peg -pin the throttle and release the clutch, feather the front brake -when the back tire starts to spin, release the front brake completely and push off to the side with your right foot -when the bike spins around, slowly come off of the throttle until traction is regained, then go on about your way
Thanks for the tips! I got most of the gear but not the helmet because I thought I would need to use a supplied helmet with their comms already integrated?
Passed my mod 1 3 days ago. Got my mod 2 in a couple of weeks. I thought seeing as i recently turned 50, it was time to ditch retaking my cbt every 2 years 😅 i was very nervous on my mod 1 but only had 1 minor for insufficient speed on my first pass at the hazard avoidance. Great video i am watching as many as i can. Thank you
Would like to ask if u apply throttle release front brake and rear brake smoothly instead of front and rear brake and after only rear brake can it be considered as minor? To clarify that acceptable speed is being maintained (low) unless the traffic from the opposite side keeps flowing towards and makes me stop. For roundabouts and Give way sign same procedure. Can a minor be added for such? Doing Automatic mod2 soon. An answer will be really appreciated, thanks.
