When police riders undergo CPD, its done with a wide range of ability and experience. From the very top of the tree to the very bottom, from Advanced trainers to this who have just started on their advanced riding courses.
The training in extremely thorough, everyone is actively involved and the learning curve is steep, very steep.
When we passed a broken down vehicle, the training stopped and the police got into action doing what they do best - Helping the public in a time of need.
One of the police riders soon turned round and went to the aid of the lady who had broken down. We didn't move on again with training until she was safely sorted out.
