No sandblasting? I notice that Rebar still rusts I do concrete restoration and sandblasting, also covering rebars With Armatec ( A special compound coating material )
1. How does this material hold up in changing climates like Northeast? and 2 does this support weight of cars over time? I get that its a self leveling type of product but not filling in big crack in advance is not wise.
That shit is expensive and hard to work with. He’s working like that because he has to because it dries in minutes. Someone off camera is working like hell mixing it to keep him a wet edge. Very aggressive heating chemical to make it work. Idkwtf but wasted $4k trying to do this
Why not pre wet the concrete before applying the overlay, I’ve watched concrete professionals always wetting the concrete first, just curious why you don’t pre wet!
@terrafuse Beautiful job... but wouldn't that still crack though after 6 months since it's so thin? Also, can you explain why only a portion had seem tape and not other areas?
Dude. That stuff is sick. Curious about the durability, cure time, how pour us it is and if it needs to be sealed. I’m a general contractor and use quite a bit of self leveling material to level floors. Is this product also self leveling?
Earthbond, good video. I was kicking around looking how I'm going to make brick treads deeper for a stairway Going from a garage to a house. And the algorithm that is stalking me sent me your video. I intend to use either number two or number three rebar and DowEl to the tread and to the riser. Essentially I will be adding one 4" x 7" x 56" block, and three - 3" x 7" x 56" blocks. I was looking for the best type of concrete to use to accomplish this. I took a screenshot of your phone number. I might start calling you. Every day. Three or four times a day. Until I am done with my job. Or I will take my questions to the local Masonry supply house. Thanks again
I have a lot of dirt near the garage concrete and it needs something added to grade it away from the garage. How clean does the concrete have to be before adding this slurry? It's kind of a catch 22 situation. The dirt is running in from the side grass yet I feel I can't correct until I clean the surface.
For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
This product will harden and bond because he is using a moist base. After 28 days it will be full strength. This will probably not crack easily. I would fix it every 5 years if needed. Winter is hard on concrete
I have a new build that I have been in for 2 years and already experiencing a lot of spalling. Many people have said there's nothing you can do except tear out and re pour. What is the quality of this product and do you see it lasting with Utah extreme heat and cold?
