The water circulation pump in my Navien NCB 180E has been making a terrible, loud noise for two days. Thank you very much for you video that could be the solution I'm looking for!!!
You can diagnosis easy, if you turn on the heating wait approximately 5-10 min and check the boiler display. The heating will come in and it’s gonna show a temperature and it will jump on higher temperature and then back to lower temperature. This will indicate you have a PCB fault.
The cartridge is not compatible for this type of diverted valve because it's with bypass pipe. www.screwfix.com/p/baxi-7656807-erp-models-3-way-valve-cartridge-without-by-pass-only/291TP?tc=ET6&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw8pKxBhD_ARIsAPrG45na_KR8zPgnN0dwE6cROfAMfpBTLR-C7h6Ky5MeGB-MVvrTYis8XB4aAnizEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Shouldn’t be putting this kind of content on youtube. Encouraging diy repairs and not good for our industry. Shame on you. Anyone can stick a camera on while they do a job. Its lazy thoughtless content.
Just wondering why you took the whole block out, i thought you could unscrew the top of the diverter valve and screw in a new one. Im no expert its just what ive seen being done on other channels

So if the expansion was flat then the air in the radiators would of been hiding the issue and acting like an expansion vessle. Loads to learn in this trade
You have to clean the condense trap to not build up sediment because it can block it and then the boiler will stop working. Yes, it's connected to condensate pipe.
Should the condensator trap be refilled with water prior to putting it back in? I just followed this video and didnt refill it. However, other videos say you have to refill it. Please can you confirm? Thanks!
