Gayton is absolutely right i know some ministers and commissioners get businesses class flight and familys too get businesses class on international flight plus every kid gets government allowance plus they are free to have there own nanny who get payed by the government can you imagine how money gets used annually for these levish lives they live on tax payer's money's?
I appreciate the transparency, South Africans received R350 pm and they received R10000 (which is about 28 months worth of R350's) in lumpsum. Also you must remember artist are the first ones to complain and say they received no funding during this time. Yes, it's not money they were used to getting (much like the people who earned more than R350 during the pandemic) but it was something. So I see no problem with them disclosing. In fact if we could have a website that could show all of the things the government spends our money on and maybe divided according to the different ministries then we will be satisfied. It's our money after all.

The point is he never hid about receiving that money and that money wasn't for him only but for the whole crew which he disclosed that it was shared amongst the crew. It’s not snitching my guy it’s called Transparency. When ur a public servant you should be transparent in order to promote accountability and provides information for citizens about what the Government is doing. In essence all ministers should be doing this. I am 100% behind Gayton, some of these ANC Ministers can learn something from him.

Yes, he should be held accountable for the video; it is reprehensible. However, the blatant nature of his outburst, the widespread virality of the video and the significant backlash he is receiving, precisely reflect the intention underlying what was said in one single outburst in contrast to a consistent, widespread and unyielding narrative about how atrocious "white people" are, dredging up colonialism to reinforce and more to the point, fuel solidarity in this. In some sense this could be reflected on - again, not to mitigate his actions, but taken into account.
