Everytime I go to the city Calais, when I get off the train station I always turn right to the Town hall place so I can admire the beautiful sculpture which inspired this scene 💕 There is flowers and little birds all around it in summer. Then I turn left to the beach and seaside, it's magical
First time I saw the ending to Micheal Clayton it really stuck with me it was such a absurd and abrupt way to end a movie and it’s absolutely fantastic. We have nothing left to talk bout the hero won and now he’s just done and the way it’s done in such a realistic way really was something you rarely see in Hollywood movies.
I saw a social media post about the end of court scene of Gregory Peck in To Kill a Mocking Bird all deflated and making a bleak stalk to the exit. This is similar lawyer decompress in subtle nuance - all the emotions now released. Speaking as a court lawyer. And I just realised something - the taxi is literally the safest place in the city at that time to process. Not to forget Tony Gilroy as director is cameo as the driver (so I recall).
A great way to get out of the employment contract he didn't want. But I wondered if he ever saw his son again? The second part - when he's eating icecream - wasn't in the version I saw.
According to George, all he kept thinking about was trying so hard not to laugh, especially in a long take about 3-4 minutes. They filmed this shot with no permit during a busy street inside a car in a car. In real time, George could see pedestrians from afar trying to look inside the car and they were calling his name 🤣
Ha, glad you enjoyed it Edwin!! Watching the show almost immediately made me think of the first lines of this song, and I was inspired to mash 'em up, especially after Marva's speech! :)
Sadly, Picard in the crappy show of the same name is a woke moralist. Picard used to be based AF and then they let Patrick Stewart get involved in the creative process. UP YOURS, AMAZON STUDIOS!
Ha, that's exactly how I was inspired to make this. I saw the Jordan Peterson clip and almost immediately thought of the cut-off moment from this episode. Also, the fact that the Sheliak were super obsessed with rules in this episode made it even more appropriate.😋By the way: It's not lost on me that your profile pic perfectly reflects someone who's seen a Star Trek episode "countless times." ...Is that secretly you Mike, from Red Letter Media?? Nah, probably just a Red Herring...
@@kyler1984 That's right Jay, indeed just a Red Herring 😄 although i can totally picture Mike liking this video as well. Yeah i really like the editing in this. That you specifically chose the Sheliak for Peterson is a neat touch, oh and can i just mention that i love that you kept that perfectly timed Riker/Picard convo at the end. "You enjoyed that." "You're damned right." 🤣
Jordan: we’ll me saying up yours is relative, I never said up yours. I will not be beholden to my own actions. Insert word salad. Also clean your room 😂
