Thats cute, in smt vengeance during the first fight against 2 slimes, both targeted the nahobino with lunge, and although neither crit, it did enough damage to kill me. It was payback for getting a turn 1 dodge on the daemon I guess.
really cool mods, thanks a lot! this is 'controversial' (??): I was wondering how difficult it would be to develop a mod that replaces the random encounter system of the og game with actual demons walking around the dungeons, like in Persona games or SMT IV and V. imo this feature could really improve he ambience of the game a lot!!!
hypothetically it could be done but it would be extremely difficult. Also the game doesn't really have the assets for it since no demon has a walking animation. Additionally the level design isn't really designed for such a thing.
@@ZephhyrAgain I see. also, as far as I know, there isn't any other smt or persona game on PC that uses the same engine since the PC port was made with Unity (bc if there were other games it would be plausible to export the assets as you said)
They should’ve added him into the remaster of Nocturne. Also leads into SMT V nicely with the headcanon that Demi-fiend helps V’s Lucifer take down his world’s YHVH
Legitimately, the only thing I would change is his position by lowering him down as to make the "human" body visible while you're choosing what to do in combat otherwise, absolute incredible work
Satan (SMT2 design) would be really nice to see in nocturne as well. There is a 3d model in SMT Imagine so I figure it wouldnt be hard to port it into Nocturne.
Digital Devil Saga 2 has Satan as it's superboss, so if Zepphyr even wanted to, they could consider porting the Satan fight from that game into Insaniax.
Now this is epic EDIT: this is a bit of a reach, but would it be possible to rip models and animations from the other PS2 games or Nine? I know there are a good number of demons that have unique 3D appearances only found in those games
The best part is that the fight with YHVH is technically what happened post TDE because of the state of the world in SMT V. Not sure if he popped out of a gacha cube tho
Because you literally can't if playing legitimately. If you do only all of the mandatory encounters and skip optional bosses then the lowest level you could be for this is 54.
i think demi fiend is actually Lucifer's godslayer, and Lucifer used him in battle against the Creator before the event in smt 5, that's why the throne is empty in smt 5
@@simplejack1601 aside from bethel mentioning Tokyo was destroyed in the conception, it's never directly stated if smt5 is a sequel to 3 and in dds it's implied that the demi fiend lost to yhvh but my head cannon is smt5 is what happens after the tde because the Demi-Fiend won. Officially it seems like the Demi-Fiend gained the ability to universe hop just to beat the shit out of the MC of that universe and remind them that they are nothing but dirt to him
@@murder_krow951 that's possible, Lucifer, Satan even Steven they're capable of universe hop / knowing what happened in the other universe, so demi-fiend might be able to do it as well
@@simplejack1601 while I'm struggling to remember the endings of dds, demi fiend shows up in 4a and 5/5V. Demi fiend takes the tde to end the cycle of the world's death and rebirth, and in both 4a (although as dlc and he hasn't quite finished tde) and both storylines of 5, there are endings that can try to or straight up end that cycle. Each character aware of the multiverse has very specific roles too, Satan is the Judge, Lucifer rebels and Steven observes. It could be that a tde Demi-Fiend is there to represent the end, he bore witness to the conception, he fought the fiends who represent death and then led the army of demons in the fight to kill yhvh. Every time he has shown up, it's when the one chosen by the axiom (the MC of the game) has the opportunity to end the cycle. Now this theory I came up with is likely debunked entirely by the dds encounter but that could also be ignored if you take the text at face value about that fight being a hallucination.
