@@joefrieson5100 I have no idea, was on fire when I came in the door, I paid to get in and the employee took my money, never gave me any change, then ran out the door with a fire extinguisher. I waited prob 10 min before he came back
BBC, it was sitting the just waiting on him. You see lights behind you with that motor in your scrape, do not stop. That unit there, we have no idea what that thing will do.
I have a chevy 4.3l v6 but I dont know which timing set to get, I first got a melling timing set with the upgraded tensioner but it made some unholy noise after like 2 days, and cloyes seem like crap... shoud I try an sa gear set?
@@chevyfarmersgarage1955 I was searching some more and found an INA branded set, they are part of the Shaeffler group which makes OE chains and tensioners for bmw and mercedes, I think im going with that one
I have bought and installed probably 50 small blocks from junk yards. Never had a problem with them. Never had to return one. Of course that was almost 40 years ago.
@WhodatnTx yep, nothing wrong with a SBC, ev one seems to think an ls engine will solve all your problems, at least not till you spend way too much to swap to one, find out it's not super fast without twin turbos and then scatter it all over the pavement 🤪😂😭
@@WhodatnTx there will always be a market for those engines people are restoring those cars and they're worth more origina.l than they are with an LS conversion, eventually they will become harder to find
