The BLOODHOUND Project is an international education initiative focused around setting a new world land speed record.
The primary objective of the Project is to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in science, engineering, technology and maths - by demonstrating how they can be harnessed to achieve the impossible, such as a jet and rocket powered car capable of setting a new World Land Speed Record.
You tribe of DUNDERHEADS! Four years ago I told you to ditch the ageing 'Dead Dog' (reburial of critical race theory unacceptable Labrador) and employ a nutcase ie 22 yr old motorcycle racer to GET THIS THING ON THE SAND AND GIVE THE ENGINES THE MESSAGE!) In fact I will do it myself and BUGGER the consequences. What has happened to our sacred Donald Campbell approach to risk??? PILLOCKS!!!
I hope they can get this going again. One of the 11 or 12 (?) fastest cars in the world, and still only on one of the engines (two if you count the one driving the fuel pump....). Get the rocket in there, and the record is ours (again), possibly forever. If they hit 1,000 mph, then breaking that record may be more than anyone else can achieve, certainly in the foreseeable future.
Hey… are you guys still around? It’s been some years since I last commented and I had some new ideas, but first I want to know if you guys are still there!
Shame that the funding for Bloodhound LSR ended. That car was planned for a 100mph. The money needed is a drop in the ocean to what the UK government waste every day.
Supersonic sound barrier breaking medical vehicles and criminal corrections. How the world of people shorter than 5ft is a big discussion about independence and how much they exceed expectations...
