Love the daily updates. This is such a prestigious and groundbreaking endeavour that it really gets the grey matter working. More technical information would be great to see! Possibly even more footage of the car in action would be inspiring. Well done on the progress so far!
Don't mind the 'little and often' approach myself, people saying they should be longer videos need to realise you guys are busy busy busy. I thank you for giving us as much as you do.
Great to hear she reached 400 after yesterday's little hiccup. Man, the string/rope on that parachute had to put up with some extreme sudden strain - I wonder how much? Great going guys and girls, happy halloween! :)
Each line in the chute will be over 1ton breaking strain ,the best person to ask would be the team as it's a prototype specific to bloodhound .still one hell of a pressure to slow it down
400mph, and still only running on just the jet motor, It did look like the rocket wasn’t fitted. So at what mph speed run will you guys fit the rocket motor to the car? And will that be the one that the rocket motor will be engaged?
This is how a program like this should be run. Look at this car to that of american team that just had a accident and loss of life. Chalk and cheese. Well done.
Your right it's not missing as it's been reconfigured from its first design ,look under the jet and it's there ,when first designed it was on top ,I guess they put the biggest punch more in line with axles so it didn't over power and turn the nose into a plow
Pietro Zamorani They’re also looking at options for a new oxidiser pump. It will almost certainly be electric but they haven’t found the right supplier yet. That’s going to take some time to design, build and test.
I suspect many of us here have been patiently watching, waiting, hoping and anticipating Bloodhound SSC/LSR's success for the last 10 years. If you can produce a 50s video of chat with only hints of the car's latest test run, why can't you give your eager fans a 1m 50s (or longer) video and include large parts of the actual test run footage, whether a success or failure?!!! A daily dose of high speed testing, with all the associated excitement and enjoyment, is why I am here. This IS the 'high speed testing' phase, is it not? If it is, show us the car blasting across the pan!! Only 12+k views so far? Why are you not reaching far, far more people? Provide more video of the car & the increasingly faster test runs, please. Fewer talking heads!
@@thethirdman225 I don't know I dont live there but I bet they have the equipment to get their own damn internet especially if they're going to go live on the TV
slim jim Sometimes things don’t go to plan. As one who has seen a fair bit of these things, I’d say be grateful for small mercy. Whose live TV did they go on? Not theirs.
@@Ralph2 the guy said they hit 400mph in the video, so clearly there is video of it. Instead of the sub 1min clips, we would rather see 10min or so vlogs about how the teat went and include the bit about the chutes.
@@charlieodom9107 They are getting these short videos out really quickly, which is great to keep us up to date. If you've ever done any video editing you'll know how long that takes, so I expect they will post some longer videos in a few days. Patience!
