Love the update. Here is me hoping they'll release a few more missions. They should take their time to experiment with missions that can lead to different endings and twists depending on your actions and choices, something that they can use in State of Decay 3. Choices for different missions is something thats been lacking a bit imho. :)
i want to be able to fully be able to pick a base and really upgrade it like expansion of plots, upgrade walls etc and really put alot of love into the base. basicly
I can’t believe they removed the being slowed down by water while you’re in a car nerf, I actually liked that one lol it doesn’t make sense I can just ZOOM across a river bed
What need more character customization In this one. To where u should be able to create ur own character if possible. Maybe add in face scan to really make players feel more in the game
I keep repeating myself...: what i wanted for co-op from day one is my mate (and his NPCs) running the farm and giving me food and hops to make beer and me (and my NPCs) running the brewery and providing security to my mate running the farm... :)
I am sad that spawn system is not gonna happen I played a lot in the Update 37 but for some reason it feels like the spawn system somehow got worse. Literally zombies spawn around the player of his/her out of FOV. It can make you die easily in Lethal.
One thing i havent seen anyone mention, is the performance improvements and texture improvements this update seemed to bring to my series x at least. Seems almost like they gave us the pc version. It was already a solid 60 fps, but now it seems smoother, like maybe they uncapped the framerate, the textures are clearer and better, and i saw actual physics in the npcs and zombies that ive never seen before, and i preordered this game and played it on an og xbox 1, to a series s, then an x later on. My biggest appreciated change was there used to be this tv static-y film that was overlayed on everything, and if you sat still for a moment it would do this weird zooming effect that was rather distracting and kind of messed with the way the graphics and the art style of the game were presented on console. Now after years, that is finally gone and its amazing.
Bangernomics was a mistake. Let us end with a repair toolkit or drop it. The smoke is super cinematic and cool... would be much better if it didn't crash the game when it tries to end. The slider/customizable option it the way to go. Water physics was stupid, straight up dumb. The flashlight is WAAAAAY TOO BRIGHT
The brutality that they allow you to put on yourself is cool in the game but not fun. At least with the zombies, like if you can make the game that harder why are you only limited to leaving with one follower. Its boring and your survivors are useless anyway and just end up dying so why not give us the ability to bring more to die since you made hostile enclaves pretty much unkillable unless your 3 blocks away with a 50 cal. Mind you the game is fun but some of the mechanics are a bit too much with the level of intelligence that your ai uses. I guess im just a poopy pants cause i can only have one follower. 😂
1 thing I wish they would work on is the zombie intelligence. Many situations I would have zombies completely ignore other survivors/allies just to get to me. Zombies should go after the first human they see. It would just seem more realistic .
Are you guys experiencing a sound glitch where the zombies are silent but you can still hear their footsteps? It’s kinda crazy since I’m doing all negative curveballs lethal run and well they snuck up on me and gave me a few good scares lmao
A new map would be amazing. My game blacks out . Like if I'm playing for hours at a time. But I keep hearing about personal character names. How does that work. This is like the only zombie game I still play
I dislike the new brighter night. Even on darker you can’t get the old feel completely back. Should have left the night and just brightened the flashlight alone
I don't think this is the last update, I think UL are going to keep using SoD2 as a testing ground for fine tuning SoD3 systems right until the end, and I'm happy for it
its has more bugs this update. Homebase and Outpost showing in green circles like it was infested but its not, Weird bright random color lights flashing directly at you when flashlight is on while turning your camera espcially indoors, Characters getting stuck in crouch position unless getting hit by a zombie, furnitures going pitch black, Followers still not telling me that there is a freak insight eventho we're literally 10 feet away unobscured.
The game is ok, but playing together in cooperation is terrible. Separate loot, divided houses where one person can search one and the other the other. In addition, the second person cannot do anything in the host's house. The second person in this game feels like a slave for the development of the first .Unless they improved it?
Naa..its not big yet without face & hair or any phsycal customitation...lotta player complain being randomized lesbian short haired asian/black/hispanic red talon chicks... Including me.
Whats the point of a night if its almost the same as daylight? Before the update the nights were at least dangerous but now they are just useless whatsoever. And before the update, when the nights were still dark, you used the lights of your car to light up the area but now this is also redundant. I hope they roll this back, its just a downgrade of the game.
Probably won't be popular but. I actually dislike the new flashlight. Sure the old one was too dim. But this one is by far wayy too bright. I actually enjoy darker nights but now I have a sun in my pocket 😂
Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. But furniture, NPCs and my own player character is completely pitch black when inside. Like a completely dark silhouette. Dunno how to fix it
Kind of stupid that they changed night time vision. I won't complain too much because it's a single player game but this is a stupid change especially for pvp games. The game is scary at night and it's supposed to be a survival zombie game. Changing rhd lighting makes it easier to see zombies and traps, taking away from the horror of zombies. Pretty stupid change. The rest are fine
