I am blind and I’m thinking about purchasing this keyboard and I really need a typed out description of the keys. i’m most interested in to know. Is there a backslash key and if so, where is it located? Am I thinking about the keyboard correctly, is the enter key on the main keyboard a backwards L shape? Finally, could you please describe the keys that are around the enter key? Thank you very much for your help.
I'll be honest...I gotta admit...I fell for this when I installed it originally back in around 2010 or so...I actually liked the white/blacklist functionality,though it sort of drove me nuts when it would detect literally everything that I tried to install. Only thing which ever detected anything good was the Eset engine. (so I eventually just said screw it and downloaded Eset, which I'd been using for ages now.)
It's weird listening to myself eight years later, I think I sound about the same as I did back then. Joining back in 2010-2011 was probably not the best idea considering my age at the time, but with all the memories (good and bad) and friends I have made throughout the site's time, I wouldn't have it any other way. To all that have dropped off the radar (amp, nas49, and many others not named) I hope y'all are doing well (kelopez need not apply). I kinda miss you all. MalwareUp never dies, and I am thankful to all of you that were along for the journey, for better or worse.

I own a 1390120 model M. It doesn't bother me that it lacks the lock lights, it is the smoothest and best performing keyboard I've ever used outside of a beam spring. I'm planning to get it overhauled in the coming weeks with bolt mods and just getting the entire thing freshened up.
The Model M was the gateway drug into mechanical keyboards for me. It's cheap, affordable, pleasant to type on... but not perfect. There must be more. Gotta find something just a little better and then I'm done, I swear. Then 10 years later you're ripping open a box with a Model F122 battlecruiser that you got at a "steal", trying to replicate that first 1391401 high.
Use the free utility SharpKeys to redefine your Right-Cntrl key to be the Windows key. Additionally, I redefined these other useless keys... Scroll Lock to be Mute; Insert to Be Play Pause; Right Alt to be Application Key. If you have better ideas for redefinitions, let me know.
Your link for replacement cables no longer work. I ended up paying $9 a peice for some vintage ones :-/ The cheapest I could find, as everything after that skyrocketed in price upward. The passive PS/2 to USb converters I bought did not work, so I'll be looking for a cheaper active converter than that Sanoxy...
7 years ago and I can't find but one other video that shows how to put 7.62x39 stripper clips into the new AR-15 magazines they have now. Can't use the speed loader although it's supposed to fit this round they get stuck before they even get into the magazine. 5.56 works fine in that thing. Just wondering if this loader fits AR-15 magazines for the 7.62x39?
i love the 122 Terminal Keyboard. a Teensy2.0 and some soldering you can make a Soarer Converter for Terminal Model M. You can do a lot of things with all the extra Keys. typing one one actually right now.

Those bad reveiws just need to practice with it more, What were they doing with it? Running it over with a car? Its merely a speed loader LOL! Using a sprinkle of lube helps too.

Hello,thanks. I don't get what is the difference between using the rescue disk and just installing kaspersky antivirus and run the scan after putting the activation code? Thanks waiting. And if I am installing kaspersky from the cd should I remove the cd before restart as it took me to a black screen and had to hard boot and then I found it took me to rescue disk and so I removed the cd. But don't know if that was correct or not I just put tje activation key but still wondering. And is there such a thing as an antivirus could be virused by a strong a virus on a laptop and not work properly? Does this mean we have to get a new one and can't use the license for the rest of devices? One more thing when I install from cd should I connect internet as we reinstalled the windows and didn't touch the partition we know has a virus and wanna install the antivirus to clean it. I still use a Model M (1391401 18OCT98) today at my desk at work. Ive owned this keyboard for about 25 years now. I used to work selling used computers back in the 90's when you could not give these away along with the IBM PS/2 computers they came with.. I remember sending hundreds to the recycling center. With Y2K a year or two away any system that was a few years old and not considered "Y2K OK" was junked. After Y2K no one wanted to buy used systems since most just got new ones so everything we had in the warehouse was sent to the recycling center. With how much they sell on Ebay now I wish I had saved a few hundred of them..
