You thankfully didn't meet me during your visit to some fun spots on Mull. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YWNhwPEJjWw.htmlsi=ZdCIJqx0AoIdwo_H
So very enjoyable. I'm no longer able to walk across fields, being restricted to a mobility scooter, but my wife can go with someone to Pilsbury Moore with her Hasselblad, it's not too far from us. I've learned to enjoy watching other photographers doing the things I used to do pre disability. I don't do resentment or envy, those are harmful emotions. It's far better to appreciate the artistry of other people and find new ways to express my own.
@@Stringbob My university is a listed building, so i've set myself the project of documenting the entire site in as interesting a way as possible. This will likely take a couple of years and result in a multi volume photobook. I might just leave it to the university to print it, since I'm not sure I can afford such a project myself given the audience will be tiny. I'll just be happy to retain copyright over all the images.
@@careypridgeon that sounds really interesting project, I bet the university would love it. I’ve just done a photo book myself and was surprised how straightforward and cost-effective the printing was.
What a lovely relaxing morning that was Adam. A nice watch and akways great to watch analogue shooters in action. The sound of spring/summer with Skylarks/Meadow Pipts in the background, lovely. atb Alan
250D! Nice I haven't tried it yet. I heard rumbles that Cinestill 400D is respooled 250d. BTW still jealous of your leica my man. Please let leica gang know that I was just kidding when I posted that video making fun of y'all on my channel. And I was also kidding when I posted the other video on my other channel. Minolta gang can't save me know please don't let Leica gang cancel me.
Much better for portraits, where you can control the light. For street it’s kind of unpredictable with changing lighting conditions and for landscape the sky is normally washed out, if not in the „right“ weather conditions with low contrasts.
When I saw Dragons Back sunrise I thoght you was in the Black Mountains.. 😃 Love the sounds of spring/summer, willow warblers et al. I have only been to the PD once and visited Chrome Hill.. I walked up Parkhouse Hill thinking it was Chrome Hill.. it was only when I got back to the hotel and checked my os map did I realise..lol. The pano worked really well and gave a little more environment to the scene -- nice image. Enjoytable watch and some cracking images. Never heard of Robin Hoods Stride but it looks a great place. atb Alan
Good Sir, Can you please recommend a good Hasselblad cable shutter release? I have everything for my Makro work, except a sturdy cable release. Thank you!
I see that the power station is in it's last summer of operation. Your night shot will be a part of a vanishing history if you make it. Enjoyed the video, thanks!
beautiful location definitely the power station at night will be a must...by by from Italy greetings to Peppa too eheheh. I have the same camera as you but alas I don't have those landscapes byeee
Enjoyed your video. I'm a Hasselblad photographer in the US (501CM), so I'm always searching You Tube for other Hasselblad photographers. Glad I found you. Will watch all your other videos next!!
Your videos help me to remember that the Hasselblad has been used by some great photographers like Fay Godwin and Michael Kenna. I'm on the other side of the Irish Sea and the wind makes 4x5 difficult to use a lot of the time. Best wishes.....
Great video, I go there and the surrounding area quite often as it’s not far, and normally with the 500C/M ( which I’ve never seen anyone else shooting film here) I did manage to slide halfway down the river bank with a 4x5 over my shoulder before.
Been a long timd since I have been to Padley, even though its only a 40 minute drive for me. Last time, I managed to damage my left knee while trying to climb a stedp bank with the usual heavy camera gear. The kned will never be the same, but I shall return to Padley and Surprise View. Great photography, BTW.
