I'm Max & the furry (*furrier) one is Occy. He's an Aussie Shepherd and my best mate. I picked up Occy when he was just 8 weeks old in a little town in southern Australia. 13 years on and we are still inseparable. We like to live alternatively and are currently building out our dream sustainable property in the Australian rainforest. After 5 years on the road, including 2 years overlanding from Canada to the base of South America (15 countries in total), we decided it's time to set up a home base. This channel is here to document and share our adventures as we build our dream property and explore Australia.
We would love for you to join us & share the highs and lows, epic landscapes, and meet the locals as we set out to explore more of this wonderful country!

Looks great, best bit was the casual drop in line about your girlfriend, so happy to hear that, especially as I was thinking to myself as I was watching this video, "I hope Max finds a girlfriend to share his life with" ❤
Occy is looking at you like.....is it my turn yet dad?! 🐾❤️ The space is absolutely gorgeous. You always do a great job Max! Sorry you got sick. I am pushing on through this sick myself. Love all the fruit you have at your disposal. Such healthy ideas are infinite! Definitely looking forward to seeing what healthy fun you are going to make! Definitely smoothies, fozen snacks, as well as, dehydrated snacks for on the go. The possibilities are endless. You can even make orange chicken. Also in the heat Occy can have frozen fruit snacks. Glad to see Occy having a time of it. I could watch him all day🫶 Cheers! Can't wait for the next vids. Bless you and Occy! Love to hear your mental health is going great too. We sometimes take that for granted.
Sorry to hear you haven't been well . The bath looks nice. Can't wait to see it finished. I think all of us would be jealous having a place like yours and having the privacy to have an outdoor bath and shower. No nosey neighbours.
You captured some beautiful shots of Occy in the sunlight. Just gorgeous. I am catching up on these older adventures and it’s amazing to see how far you have come in two years with your goals. The cabin is exactly what you dreamed of. Appreciate how genuine you are in every facet of your sharing with us. You are a amazing human being.
Anyone that has seen Zoolander will understand what I’m about to say. You diving into the ocean, your hair, a perfect merman.. “water is the essence of wetness, wetness is the essence of water”.
A little late as a new sub, but this was amazing! Curious as to what that song was in the opening? Super catchy. Also, was that a baby in a bucket? She’s adorable. Such a life they live. It’s hard work. Freedom with a huge amount of responsibility.
It looks amazing! All you need to do on that porch now is get rid of the toilet (seriously) and add a couple of rocking chairs and small table in between them to rest a coffee and a candle. Oh and some hanging baskets for flowers. Love it!
Such a great job, well done Max, the deck is amazing, you work so hard at all what you do, be proud. Oh, and you missed a weather appreciation comment a 7.39. 😊❤❤❤
Absolutely huge congrats on yet another amazingly beautiful project. There seems to no end to your talents. Love the vibe you are creating. Thanks for bring us along 👍👏✌️
Bloody gorgeous out there now! Great place to have a nice hot soak - jeez, you‘ve even got your‘e portable potty there - well I suppose, it is your bathroom! Beautiful - well done! Lynda🧚🏼♀️💕
"is this anyones idea of heaven?" *seconds after seeing a gigantous spider right underneath the bathtub* ... no... thats my idea of hell (Keep up with the spider warnings pleeease)
It really looks great! When you have guests, Maybe a privacy screen that you pull down from the ceiling? Not to block the view out, but to block the living room. Or just keep it for your own use as is.
Bloody beautiful Max...bath looks sensational. Love watching you do your little projects. I think you should paint the whole house the same as the railings on the deck look forward to your next one well done Max
