Greetings and salutations from new york. I love your truck and I was working on building something similar before my divorce. Unfortunately I had to sell everything off I'm looking to acquire another Dakota soon. Right now I'm working on a 2000 durango. I was curious how did you get the viper seats to mount inside the truck I managed to find a nice pair of buckets out of a 2011 Dodge journey. And I'd love to know how to get them fit into the Durango on to the power seat brackets
Man, I really wish this thing was a stick shift as it'd be the perfect thing to top it off imo, lol. I'm just a standard trans junkie though so excuse me, lmfao 🤣
What suspension are you running? The bushings on my control arms are completely shot and I need to figure it out asap. I have plans to lower it so I figured what better time than now.
Hell ya man. Just got me a 2001 black single cab short bed rt absolutely love it. Awesome to drive on the freeway and fun light to light. Ridin around the Sf Bay Area
Wait 3 subs under the bench? Idk how i missed that last time i watched this lmao. Would you be willing to show me how you did that, at one point i had 2 Skar 1500w 10s in a custom built box that was on top of my bench seat, and it got fucking stolen while i was sleeping one night. Having it be under the bench would be so much better
I know it’s been five years and i currently have a Dakota the last truck my grandpa ever got to help me with and imma restore it as in words as dump money into it and make it super nice looking but another note I was wondering where could I buy a truck bed cover like yours that pops open bc I don’t wanna get one that rolls up or folds i want a nice one like yours and I can’t seem to find one thanks in advance
Whats up Taylor, asking you cause it’s real hard to find answers when it comes to modding these trucks. I found this kit from X2 that I was considering. Tubular lowering control arms that give a 3” drop in the front and I plan on combining it with belltech’s 4” lowering kit. I’m wondering if that’ll be too low. I don’t want to sacrifice drivability. Thanks in advance.
Thank you for the truck tour! I have a dakota myself, and I want to do the exact same thing with mine. If you dont mind me asking how much money in all have you put into your truck?
