The problem is the brass contactors. After a while the contact tips will become dry and scrape into the black plastic housing. With a 120 or higher grit, gently remove the black plastic from the contactor tip. If it's black sand it slightly. Don't go crazy. A little love is all it needs. Where the 3 gold connection strips cross under two rings, you need to add the dielectric grease there. It acts as a well to keep the tips lubricated.
I just bought 2 2016 axys 800s for a killer deal - both have less than 1500 miles on them. One of them has a super low idle on start up to the point the screen flickers and it wont go into reverse. Gonna try this out and see if it resolves the issue
Just attempted this the other day. My TPS was at .711 and idle set to .928 if i set to .700 and .940 my sled will not idle down below 2200-2300rpm. I reset it back to .711 and .928 and runs great and idles at 1850rpm.
yea...same issue. The pause happens half-way through and stopping in the middle of my windshield. not clear on what the fix exactly was except to reapply the dielectric grease? correct?
I have a question, I did everything in the video with the set screw not touching the throttle cable and got to .7000 but after tightening the set screw it only lowered my milivolts? I then tried to put the set screw all the way in so the throttle cable was slack and it just made my millivolts go down to .2000 and the highest it would go is .4000 please help!
I know this is an old post, but thought I would ask anyway. Do you know if the intermittent wipers are controlled by the PCM/computer. I just put a plug and play PCM in my van and shortly after I started having this problem
I’m hoping you can help me. I did everything in your video when I went to start my sled it idialed to high, I went to shut off my sled and I would not stall. I could not shut off me sled? Kill switch or key will not shut off my sled. Any tips ?
will when i start my truck up the wind shield wipers turns on there own even when i open the door without the truck being on the wind shield wipers starts moving . Would have any ideas what’s causing that????? Than
I was thrown for a bit because you used megabytes/sec for discussing the download speed but then showed a speedtest reporting a much higher number in megabits/sec. I didn't immediately catch the change in units and was confused about the seemingly large difference.
Possible stupid question. Do I need a smartphone with access to the internet to be able to switch on the starlink? Don't have a data plan as my cel service is garbage.
@@mutt2jeff But in order to get this app I will need the internet ? Not trying to be funny here. I have a fast connection at work, so it's no big deal. Just find it ironic that you need the internet to be able to connect to the internet.
@@JohnJackson-hy7dn You also need internet access to sign up for the beta test, to receive the email informing you of your invite, and to order the Starlink kit in the first place, so it isn't really ironic to also expect someone who has done all that to be able to download the app at some point before the kit arrives. Once the hardware is there, you don't need internet access at the service location to set it up and get it working.
@@mutt2jeff I am about 25 miles NW of Spokane but did not get the invite. It appears that Starlink was looking at certain latitudes for the beta. I know that just south of my latitude several people received the invite. That is why I was asking.
@@butchgo3756 I was honestly a bit surprised to be among the first public invited. I think it has to do with location, but also number of other people in a radius. It's in testing, and it doesn't tell them much they don't already know to have a bunch of people in the same region running it. I am probably the only person in a 25 mile radius who has it.
I went out and tried again with the app, but all it wants is an unobstructed view directly up. I know it self orients the angle of the disk, but I wonder if it can rotate as well. Its pointed roughly NE and at a slight angle.
@@mutt2jeff The app should show a circle when held up towards the northern sky. The dish should point in that direction. If you turn around and point the app south the circle should be grayed out. I'm having a similar problem with my 07 iq touring 600 cleanfire. Would the tps affect reverse as well? I have to bump the throttle to about 3k for it to engage.
I have a 2013 pro and the engine light goes of and on with the code 520 194-3 which I learned it meant high voltage with the throttle and I’m really confused how to fix it bc it’s a small problem that puts the sled in limp mode and I can’t even drive it when it happens!!
@@manitobatv29 yesssir, so basically I just bought a new throttle box with all the wires and stuff and I put it on and it works great hasn’t went into limp mode so far. It’s not a big problem so don’t worry about it.
Have the same issue with my sled currently runs, but acts like it has a rev limiter right before the clutch engages so it can’t move! Did you replace your whole throttle assembly??
