Today I decided to see what, exactly, cleaning my solar panel would do. It admittedly was not very dirty, but it's a good indication of whether or not you should spend your time keeping your panels sparkling clean.
The conclusion? Before cleaning we we're producing 88 watts of power on our 100 panel. After, we made about 89-90 watts. An improvement of 2-3%. So probably not worth your time to be going up and scrubbing your panels all the time.
