Let’s be honest here, Kyle Petty is being a tool. He knows what Bob was trying to do, but took the easy route by picking on the easy target. People like Bob are “look at me” and “give me my 15 min”. Bob is a loser.
Kyle Petty is such a doosh too. He was such a bitch when he drove, and he’s talking about respect sitting behind the announcer desk. Kyle Petty, why don’t you walk the walk and punch somebody….
Why doesn't NASCAR have a big boxing ring in the infield right by the start finish line? With two giant pairs of boxing gloves? Where the 2nd and 3rd place guys that wrecked out trying to win can settle their grudge. Or anyone that had an issue the week prior can settle it in the ring before the next race and then there will not be as many issues on the track. It's less dangerous that way. Plus, it could make for stellar prerace entertainment. Introduce the drivers that want to duke it out then let them walk down to the ring and settle last week right there in front of the crowd.
The most baffling thing to me of all of 2:12. Robin Pemberton was the crew chief for Rusty Wallace in the 1990s until the end of 2001. Wallace, one of the most outspoken drivers in the garage at the time. Guess Pemberton showed his true colors once he had authority in the sport itself...
Here in 2023 after he became a mature guy 🤣 Brad K: “Tell him to come here!” “Tell him to leave victory lane, he knows where I’m at!” Kurt’s reaction: “Are you done?” “I gotta celebrate with my team, don’t ruin this great day for me”
This is the absolute hell we had to deal with during the Brian France era. The most 'quintessential' moment in his reign was when he got caught being a drug addict and a drunk! I have criticisms for Steve Phelps but at least his administration is TRYING (and failing at some...) things.
