I just discovered this year, when you have an abundance of fresh tomatoes at the end of summer, you can just take six or eight of them and put them into a ziplock and stick them in the freezer fresh tomatoes throughout winter, well kind of fresh tomatoes LOL I use them to put into red lentil Curry
You might consider overnight oats. I use maybe a mashed ripe banana or some dates and I put it into a mason jar with some maybe half a cup of raw oatmeal uncooked, I add to that a teeny bit of Vanilla some water tablespoon of cocoa powder and say I have a cup of water. I started stick it in the fridge and the next morning it is fantastic cold, or after dinner it makes a pretty yummy dessert while I'm watching TV also sometimes instead of chocolate I use peanut butter powder the sugar-free kind and add dates and or banana to that with the oats in the water and let it sit for a couple hours and yum! Again cold.
What a surprise to hear my poem featured & so beautifully read; you read it coincidentally on our daughter's father's birthday. I was just sharing the poem with a friend who hadn't known Elizabeth, who in her own villanelle taught us all about loss. I love this very creative idea, especially if Matt can make each poem personalized by adding a couple of facts or characterizations about each person who's receiving the poem. Actually, I love the idea, even if he doesn't do that, but I just add my two cents worth. Congratulations!
Better yet........how about I ask him to include the name Bob or words with Bob in it in each poem (bobbing along) (bobby pins) bobbing for apples........I might give him a bunch of money to pay for more people who show up!!!
