In this week's poem, the poet uses a few terms that might be unfamiliar. Chthonic means having to do with soil and underground realms. And Dis is an ancient Roman god who was associated with fertile soil and mineral wealth. I hope you dig it as I do...not with a pickaxe, but with the gentle spoons of your ears.
