Now that is some awesome train action. Great tunes and some great runners. I love the dark room and the lights from the trains. That Menards hopper car with the led lighting looks awesome in the dark! Could you imagine an entire train of those cars! 👍🔥🙏❤️💪
Hello Matt Nice K-Line Trains Colorful diesels. I recently bought K-line Streamliners passenger cars there 13 1/2 inches long diecast 4 wheel trucks from 1994 bought off ebay. Have not ship yet but I like the realistic detail. Do you have a collection of those K-line streamliners?
@darius7760 I do not. Would love to, though. I still believe K-Line made the finest passenger cars of anyone. Even today. You will not be disappointed!
Wow, looks and sounds great. I was recently lucky enough to pick up one of these at a show for a bargain. Ran great on a friends layout, but it’s a bit dusty and grimy. Any ideas on what it would be safe to clean it with? I’m going to try and see how much I can get off this weekend with brushes and canned air, but I’m trying to figure out what else would be safe to use on the painted brass if that’s not enough.
@RailfanS1 The shell comes off with three srcrews, and a plug for the headlight if really dirty. I use an automotive quick detail spray on mine. (Safe for paint) Spray lightly on a clean cloth wipe gently....30+ years old and all! Don't get the deatailer on the coal load though
Thanks for the tip. Finally got the time to clean it today, the detailing spray worked great. Got it in the display case in the living room for now, someday I hope to have somewhere to run it. But for now I can take it to my brothers layout down the road.
Great video, love a room with a ton of train action going on. Glad to hear that Weaver did a good job on the green, but I'm colour blind so it almost looks like a cool shade of burgundy to me lol
Very nice engine! I live about 1 1/2 hours from Scranton PA, so that really got me into the Alco engines. I have 3 Atlas O Alco C424 engines from 2004 and they are such great running engines.
@@UncleSalty-nz5uk I did see a C425 SP&S on Ebay new over this past summer. The Atlas O Alco century engines seem VHTF and you have to jump on them when you see them. I have 3 C424, two EL, 1 CP.
@RABSTRAINS D size is for the horn. Postwar lionel same thing. Most locomotives with TMCC need a 9 volt battery to run conventionally. MTH original protosound and protosound sound 2 used a rechargeable battery with an on board recharging circuit. In modern stuff, batteries have been replaced with capacitors to hold electrical currents and offer interpretation free sound. 😉
Awesome. I found your video on the FM Trainmasters. I might be grabbing one because of your video and descriptions. 👍🙏🔥💪❤️🇺🇸 Do you know if The Williams By Bachman is still being produced and if it has ceased do you know when?
@@RABSTRAINS They no longer produce it. Maybe around 2015? I can check my catalogs when I get home. Don't tell anyone, but the Williams by Bachmann will be the highest quality.
I am a big fan of Kline scale engines, frt cars, and there wonderful scale passenger cars. Have been collecting them for years. Lionel.made a big mistake by not incorporating all of there designs into there company. The 21 inch aluminum passenger cars are the best, they command big money now. Great video !
OUTSTANDING Video. You add so much awesome information when describing the engines and your history with each one. I feel it makes it interesting and makes you relatable to your viewers. I LOVE it👍👍👍 I can’t wait to see what’s next!👍🙏🔥💪❤️🇺🇸. You are educating us🙏🙏
@RABSTRAINS Thank you, sir. I really appreciate it. You have no idea. Had another viewer request the Weaver collection, so I guess that is next. That might have to wait till the weekend.
@@UncleSalty-nz5uk would you be willing to do a video specific to FM Train Masters? Which year Williams produced them and the good things about them and which years are better to purchase. I want one, but there are different years they were produced. Basically what to look for and what to avoid.🙏🙏
You want to have some fun with your Williams? Take an older one with no frills, and pop in a Blunami 4408. Bluetooth control, terrific sound and they will CREEP. I have the upgrade on my channel.
Very nice! I’ve always liked the Williams products. They are great runners and nicely detailed. We learned the hard way about the non-flywheel motors, when we first got a few for our club modular. They were basically an on/off switch. A few derailments when starting and stopping occurred, so we changed the way that we ran trains with them. Fine engines, for sure. An excellent video, as always.
@RABSTRAINS No problem. K-Line, towards the end of their career made some of the best trains in the business. If they were still around, they would be the biggest manufacturer in O gauge.
I totally appreciate the effort you went to for this video. Because of you I love Williams engines. You did an awesome job and I am sure turned a few viewers on to Williams 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪🙏❤️👍🇺🇸
A good 17 minutes of your Williams engines👍 your next video should be on wiring your engines in series, or not. " pull you house off its foundation" love it😂
Well, Matt, you do have quiet a nice collection of Williams. Very nice! I have heard many good things about Williams over the years, they do look good and run well too, but I guess because I was always such a Lionel guy in the pre-command days, I never really considered their locomotives. Awesome video! Thank you for sharing your collection. Bill B.
@ozarkmidlandsouthernrailway Thanks, Bill! My father got me into the brand. He was a die hard lionel guy as well. Guess he got bit buy the scale bug early 🙄
Fantastic Williams collection Matt! The BL2’s are awesome! I really like them as well. The Shark and the Tonners also caught my eye! Very cool collection!
