Nice car, but useless car with a Diesel engine in it if you mostly drive in a city. Because the DPF ruins almost all diesel engines of newer cars if you drive them in short distances.
The mk2 is a good car, the petrol are very reliable, duratec engines. I’m a big fan of the looks of the mk2 however… if I was to buy one I’d go for the titanium
The thing is that everyone expecting about 400 ( me too ) but after I checked actual Dyno graphics from different people and different countries I found out that before tune that cars have about 270hp and 330/340 after. Torque even more than expected. 400 will be good with hybrid turbos on N55
@@MarruMotorsit’s weird. MHD quotes 390hp but I guess that might be achieved with the other flex fuel maps. I’m stage 2+ in a 135i. Would be nice to see 370hp at least to the crank lol
Well by the numbers obviously we all want more but to be honest with you Im happy how car pulls and 580Nm torque is more than most of tuners offer for Stage 2. If you have newer 135i you will have more because I think you have more HP from stock.
I have a mk4 mondeo 2.0 litre TDCI . Same colour with a powershift box . 63 plate . It’s an edge model so it’s low spec but what a nice car to drive . No spoiler . Value for money and probably pulls better than the 1.6 diesel with a full load of passengers . Can’t knock it .
Just make sure you using good professional tyre garage. It’s quite easy to damage them ( cosmetically). Tyre shop did it with rear when fitted tyres. Make sure you going to good place. I made photos before I gave car them so later used it as a proof that alloys was in perfect condition before they touched them
As usual, I watched this today AFTER my E93 convertible roof failed. It's now stuck mid-position and neither retracts fully or pulls back into place. I get a "Roof movement impaired" message.
@@MarruMotors No - it's not budging at all no matter how hard I pull on the roof to try and get it to close. And I'm not able to get the trunk open to reach the pump and release pressure. Will need to take it down to a local shop to at least pop the trunk and get the roof to fully close.
@@MarruMotors After leaving it overnight, I tried to retract the roof again, and this time, it retracted into trunk without a problem, so that's much better than being stuck, especially 1 hour from the nearest big city shop/dealer. But I don't dare to raise the roof back because that's when it becames stuck with "Roof movement impaired". I'm planning on driving it open-top 1 hour to the large shop/dealer to do a proper diagnostic. Maybe its a faulty sensor, maybe not enough fluid in hydraulic pump, we'll see.
I have a ‘14 Mondeo with the same body style and the same body color! Mine is a titanium X, business edition and it have the 2.2 tdci with 200 hrsprs manually! Full leader and an awesome sound system! Absoluty love it!❤️❤️❤️😊
don't forget about the : sloshing water problem in the rear - i have this problem and may cost me around 1000euro to fix it. Edit: All e93 users are advised to drill a 10mm hole -in order for the water to drain - and avoid any problems
FBO and MHD 2+. You can find all mods in other videos. I haven’t done dyno since tuned. Need to do that soon and will make video with numbers before and after.
Sweet dude! Lookin good! I got the same springs and will be installing them on my cabrio either this weekend or next! Cheers from your twin in Portland, Oregon!
I 100% like them. Was worried because looked very low, in arches, but nothing is rubbing. Bit stiffer than oem Msport but not a massive difference. I would say Oem+ type upgrade. Not so crazy. Will add roll bar later too
@@MarruMotors this is perfect! Thank you! I've been searching for this for a long time. Mine is pre-lci and has the peeling plastic trim. The lci trim is much nicer, doesn't look like it will start peeling and aesthetically fits with the airbag module.
Very nicely done! I do my seals religiously with nextzett gummi pflege … I’ve used it on Audis, bmw’s and Japanese cars. Keeps the creaking down as well, when I hear door or a creak over a bump, it’s time to apply it again
i took a mondeo estate in px for a audi a6 avant c6 ? was dreading it? letme tell you after a month ii wasnt missing the audi anymore? letme tell you the pluses? Rear legroom amazing more than audi? Seats soooooo comfortable? boot huge? audi way to many electric glitches? mondeo not one prob!em? audi to low to ground annoying if ur not a boy racer? and insurance way higher for audi? yes the mondeo does look blander than audi but for sheer comfort an reliability mondeo everytime ?
Thanks for the nice and helpful video.❤ I have also bought the same 320i convertible. and I have exactly at that point that you showed a leak. In back right. where can i find such rubbers?
Thanks for the info! I don't know if you remember me from another one of your videos where I asked you about the color of you e93. Well, I bought the e93 n55 in havanna metallic just like yours with saddle brown interior! Oh my god! I absolutely love the color and the car. I was a little unsure of what the color would like but it is the best and I get so many compliments on it. I sorted a very well maintained one and am very happy and glad about that. I have been doing some mods including installing a m sport paddle shift steering wheel and retrofitting paddles, changing out kidney grills, tinting the windows, and installed a carbon fiber m performance rear spoiler. She is looking good! Where did you buy your rear bumper side splitters/fins? They look really good and give a more aggressive look to the rear of the car. Thanks for all of your videos! Cheers!
Hey 👋 ! Yep, I remember 😉 Nice 👍🏻 do you have instagram? Im thinking about spoiler as well. About rear bumper fins, in UK you can find only flats, which are a bit wider but vertically down, like mine unfortunately only from US or if someone will sell here. I bought from lady, she ordered them from US. Thanks for kind words !
I’ve had my e93, 322 L diesel, 10 years this March and it still puts a smile on my face with the roof down.,, still get plenty of looks in my opinion, the better shape than the four series doesn’t miss doesn’t burn oil doesn’t ,drip oil on the drive ,,getting 38 the gallon. Why would I want a new car and getting debt for 30 grand, think about it.
@@MarruMotors I honestly think that any little upgrade will Definitely increase the horsepower on these machines . I want to also install a larger front mounted inter cooler, but I will most likely need a tune after that . Have you looked at the piggyback tunes for these cars ? It’s so easy to tune them with just a plug in tune .
Thanks. It was a difficult decision to be honest. Even after simple polishing, original alloy colour became very nicely looking. I wanted BMW colour but to match oil cap I ended with Ford Electric blue 😅
@@MarruMotors 😂 hey it works . The color matches with the emblem . And some of the accents in your engine bay . Great choice ! The alloy probably made a nice base for the blue also .
