Great video, I've owned a 2010 focus 1.6 petrol for 13 years now, iv had the cam belt and ancillary belts changed it's now done 117 k and still runs fabulously . The one thing you'll have to be aware of is that the bonnet release mechanism can fail without warning and your left with a closed bonnet if this happens you need to remove the grill and physically dismantle the lock cable mechanism then replace it with a new one . 😊

Thank you for a feedback. You right, I had similar problem on Mondeo Mk4 and BMW e92. Need to be lubricated and checked regularly.

It's not going to be up to the standard of the latest cars with all the touch screens, but that's only a good thing. I like simple and reliable cars and value for money

Very nice video. I am writing from Türkiye in Istanbul. I have owned 2006, 2010, 2013 and 2021 Ford Focuses. However, I loved the 2008-2011 MK 2.5 chassis Focus. 1 month ago, I bought another Focus, a sedan body, with 125 thousand KM. 1.6 petrol automatic. I had a digital radio installed. I am very pleased. I hope to use it for many years. There is only a vibration on the left door side when the engine is running. I'm trying to find it. Thank you again for the video...

Great video. I just bought a 2009 MK2, 56k mileage. Very happy with the car so far - only problem is the leaking in the boot when heavy rain - which is all the time in the UK! Lots of lots of videos on RU-vid about this same problem, so you are very lucky not to have this problem! Thanks for the ebay link, very useful. Also I will probably copy you with the digital head unit change. Cheers

Never heard about leaks, will check it. I have some in my BMW 😁 About head unit I would recommend to take model with DAB radio. You can buy even same Pioneer but with that option. My is without. Thanks for feedback

The mk2 is a good car, the petrol are very reliable, duratec engines. I’m a big fan of the looks of the mk2 however… if I was to buy one I’d go for the titanium
