182B back again . Trying to upload songs which are still unlisted on YT . For your and my pleasure. Old style R&R and Cajun music are my favorites.
About the channel design and changings every few month's : I don't care about a channel back ground , as they will change it back again i suppose . ( "CHANNEL ART" they call it , although they destroyed the real channel art more then two years ago ).
Knowing that YT isn't a very dependable partner ( although they cannot exist without uploads ) i will share following anecdote : Recently i've uploaded 2 vids , containing dancing scenes . At first YT sended me notice ( quote literally ) : " We detected your video may be shaky. Would you like us to stabilize it?" That shows perfectly the odd and otherwordly attitude of them. LOL.
Some of my vids are not visible in some country's , due to copyright issues . Although i'm using content which is at least 50 years old . Strange world we living in . Have a good time and enjoy yourself
Dear Sir ... is it perhaps possible for you to put again that album INSTRUMENTALS with 347 video's back on RU-vid ? I kept it in my map Favorites. But it has gone. I liked the music very much.
April,1952, I was helping my dad stay awake delivering freight down south and on out west. The last delivery one day was a hydraulic jack to the Joe Falcon residence, and he invited us to hear him play that night at this very café in Church Point, Louisianna. They provided music and dancing with Joe Falcon on Saturday nights. Sunday mornings after services, a local church served up a catfish breakfast.
the dance has nothing to do with the popular dance, the Cajun Two-Step. This is a faux gypsy/flamenco show number - from which film? Is she the gorgeous Rita H., a stunning dancer, a ravishing performer (+ a leading lady, glamorous, charming)
Susan Gjerde 1939-2018 Married name was Susan Goski Brother of Ron Gjerde, owner of Agar record label. Ron's middle name was Arlington, which Sue used on this record.
Do you have some other songs from this album? Like Silent night, O Tannenbaum and Merry Christmas (nr.1) So yeah, will you please try to put them here also?
The first time I saw your video about 10 years ago. It seemed to me that this song was taken from a 78 rp gramophone record because of the sound it has from the second 2.19 and because of the old postcards it matches the gramophone, and it is very well done because it is an allegory to the tourist past from Hawaii at the end of the last 2 seconds a noise is heard that seems effectively the old gramophone This is what inspires me, and I like your video, because it is one of the first videos I saw when I started with the internet, greetings again friend
To be honest , it was taken from a 33 rpm ( and not a 78 ) , but as it was one of my first uploads , i used some converter to capture the sound into a Video Maker program that didn't worked very well . The 33 rpm sound is much better . ( even with some scratches it has ) . And yes , old postcards are the best , as they refer to the original recording date . ( using the wrong account , i realize . Luckily same name , haha )

Hey Charlie, I know you didn't make it big in the music business, You probably became an accountant or something. Did you ever become First Sargent in the Pershing Rifles?
Jimmie Rogers the Blue Yodler aka The Singing Brakeman. But Cleoma has him beat, hands down. I think Mr. Rogers recorded this sometime in the late twenties or early thirties.
Not quite sure how the 1940's - 1950's car fit into the 1960's music, but well, they're elegant for sure, and the music of my countrymen certainly was very entertaining. Our "Shadows" in a sense... The Scandinavians had the Spotnicks, the Dutch too had a similar band, don't know about the French ? Is that the band I see recommended by RU-vid on the right, les Phantômes ? Let's give that one a try.
Sorry , can't find source anymore - too long ago - Site i've downloaded from is for sale actually . I vaguely remember something in the line of " At The Sock Hop " . Not sure if this was the song title , or the clip ( program ) title . I guess it was aired as TV show back in time .
