Hi again Dagyo, could you pls tell me whether GG's S3 has any target priority rules or is it completely random? Seems like she targets enemies within her normal attack range first, but then what? Do the drones move to the next closest enemy or do they consider enemies' left hp or their weight or anything? Do they like always move clockwise or there's no set trajectory?
Shamare is an upgrade to Pramanix in most cases, but Pramanix is still good and also has one of the single most potent debuffs for any operator in the game. It’s just unfortunate that is ALL she can boast.
Here’s a few from being a player since the second update: 1. A fully built team of 3 stars at E1 lv 55 will be able to clear more than a haphazard 6 star leveled to E2 lv 1 and everyone else underlevelled 2. Skill levels make more of a difference than operator level or even elite level. 3. For many operators E1 max level will be more than enough for a very long time. E2-ing operators needs to only happen for operators that get a significant upgrade or new passive from E2. 4. Do not neglect your base. Seriously, it’s very important. It’s where you’ll make a huge percentage of your LMD 5. After E2, you almost NEVER need to level your operators higher than the level required for their module. For 6 stars, stop at E2 level 60. For 5 stars stop at E2 lv 50, for 4 stars, stop at E2 lv 40. Only invest in going to E2 max level for operators that rely on stats heavily, like some supporters such as bards like Sora or Skadi alter 6. LEARN ARCHETYPES. This is easily the most important one. Learn what units are similar to each other. For example, Beagle, Matterhorn, Liskarm, and Hoshiguma are all defenders with high defense that can be used to tank damage. They are essentially 4 different rarities of the same general type of unit, and can be substituted accordingly depending on the situation. Obviously, they all do subtlety different things, but the point still stands that they are generically similar enough to interchange. Learn all of these different archetypes for all the operators. There’s fewer “categories” of operator than you might think. 7. Vanguards, defenders, and medics are probably where a significant early game focus should go. These units let you get DP fast, and throw down a defensive wall that can survive. If you have lower powered DPS units, you can at least hold out long enough for them to do their damage. It might be slow, but you will survive with a quickly constructed, well supported, tanky front line. 8. Don’t pull on every banner without doing your research. Depending on your account, that limited 6 star may be completely useless. Don’t get FOMO. There will be reruns. Pull for characters you think could help your account, and also LOOK UP the CN schedule to plan ahead. Watch videos of people reviewing upcoming operators so you can get ahead of the meta and save wisely. 9. Potentials (duplicate copies of an operator) matter the most for characters like vanguards and ones with high DP cost. In general tho, you’ll still be fine with a potential 0 character. 10. Skins are expensive and not worth it unless you are hella down bad or just live a unit to death. Make sure it’s for one you don’t see yourself not using frequently. 11. The 30 day sign in pack, and the monthly headhunting pack are two of the best value packs from the store (excluding special ones that drop during events) 12. USE YOUR PRACTICE TICKETS! Seriously, so important and useful. You get the ability to practice a level once for free and not spend any sanity. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS. You can try a stage until you find a good strategy, exit, and then try for real to clear it. It’s a really smart tactic for maximum sanity efficiency. 13 READ TUTORIAL STAGES! They explain crucial info. One of the first ones in the game is the most useful tactic in the whole game. The last placed unit will have enemies target it preferentially. This means, in general, you ALWAYS want to deploy support units and ranged units FIRST, then deploy a tanky melee unit as last operator.
thanks man for the heads up! would be great if there was a video/guide covering the gold cert schecule as I'm still missing Horn, Mlynar, Surtr and Golden Glow.
Here's my top 10, in no particular order, for those who have most 6 stars already: 1. Texas 2. Nearl 3. Delphine 4. La Pluma 5. Lappland 6. Honeyberry 7. Warfarin 8. Ptilopsis 9. Blue Poison 10. Shamare
I had my doubts on Ashlock, Rockrock, Tequila but now that I watched this, I feel a bit more motivated to build them (except Tequila cuz I already have Mlynar)
3:34 I once heard on a video that GG's drones don't lose their attack buff when exploding, Though I could be wrong and i don't remember in which video I got this info, so it should be fact checked 🤔 Though it's funny because I was already saving my certs for GG, but I wasn't sure when she was going to be a shop operator, so I'm happy she will be here in the next few months/weeks
What do you think I've ben doing, aside from saving for Degen and Shu? Incidentally, I now have Degenbrecher even though Weedy spooked me somewhere along the line.
I love my golden glow, i easily m9 her and fully max her level. she's super useful and can switch to any skills if i need, high dps/single target dmg, larger range and inf skill time or global range targeting things that are normally out of range. she's good source of arts dmg and her talent that ignores res is very strong
i have like 150k Orundum. (if you count my OP with it) i actually save for Walter since she is atleast guaranteed in 300 Pulls without buying her from the Shop
i almost buy blaze, thankfully i saw this video first. i want GG so badddd while blaze can easily be replace by other guard ( i have lot lot lot of 6* guard )
Yes. I have Eyja, Ceobe, Lin, and Mostima all built to E2 as well, and out of all these casters, GG is the one I still use the most. Not building her would be a mistake.
@@fashyakupercent20 Eyja is better for the burst damage, no? Plus, GG s3 drone priority can be problematic sometimes too. Eyja still holds her own in that sense.
Bassline is unironically an amazing medic defender. He actually enables some strategies that no other medic defender can. There are a couple amazing clears where he allows you to protect units from Tallulah’s fire attacks due to his shields.
The fact you can manually choose when to activate and deactivate Rockrock’s skill 2 is a HUGE benefit. It’s not like Amiya’s skill 2 where the stun is gonna happen at defined intervals. You can save up the charge and wait for a big wave. And honestly, the stun is not that long, and can be more easily overcome nowadays with certain medics, or support units that can clear stun effect quickly. And honestly, she hits REALLY hard in her overcharged state. I actually like her a lot and think she’s an absolutely solid caster in general.
Firewhistle > Ashlock - I have both and can rely on Firewhistle holding her lane and melting things with her S2, ashlock needs another opperator to function I've also heard that Rock Rock isn't as great as you are letting on, the stun duration and the time it takes to get the % increase to damage is too long
I don't have Bagpipe, Surtr, Mylnar, and Goldenglow. Who should I get? I do want GG to maximize my SSS performance, but I think I may just borrow her from friends. Are there other areas she's really good at?
@@razzmatazz6233 attack speed is better for her because it activates her drone explosions more often. Of course, if you choose damage instead, each drone explosion will do much more damage, but I feel the consistency with faster attack speed is better, especially since arts damage resistance is percentage based, so faster attacks with lower damage isn't penalized. If you use any physical dmg ops, always prioritize damage over attackspeed, as breaking past defense is a flat dmg subtraction, not percentage based
Issue with Elysium needing to be deployed ahead your melee can be simply counteracted by making him face back toward said operator. He's 1 block and becomes 0 block when using his skills anyway.
Do you think she is better than ceobe for cc? Im contemplating on which one to get from the yellow cert shop. From my understanding you cant get ceobo off banner from standard banners anymore (not sure if you can still get her on limited banners)
Ceobe is better for high def enemies, especially the buffed ones in CC because her base ATK is increased proportionally with her target's defense. Goldenglow is better for general DPS because she ignore the enemy arts resistance.
I have 85 gold certs right now but I am planning to pull 300 for shuu's banner for Nian and Shuu, so hopefully by the time GG comes I will have enough for her.
i need a second caster besides eyja, can logos replace goldenglow for future/CN content? i plan to do 300 pulls on the wisadel banner, but don't know if i should buy goldenglow or not
A nub opinion here maybe, but Logos, despite being a very strong core caster, doesn't have presence over the entire map as Goldenglow's S3. If you played Ambriel before and know her S2, that's approximately what GG's S3 also does but GG is so much more powerful at that. You could borrow Goldenglow with S3 to see what exactly she does and decide for yourself. Logos and her have different niches in the game bc of that.
thanks for the replies, i'm getting more confused and scared to make decision hahaha. they have different good niches, and i'm not sure which one i need. i hope i get some enlightenment in the next few days to decide what to do.
@@-AnthonyRholistoneSimlingPrata follow your heart, bc situations where you need a certain operator and noone else fits the role are very rare, and you can always borrow then if that'll be the case. GoldenGlow is very very good, but she is not a cornerstone operator like Mlynar or Ch'en Alter (and even then, not everyone has them and people still play). Also, neither GG nor Logos are limited and you won't lose your chance to get either later. But Logos and W alter banner overall has the highest priority for any type of account considering the featured operators' strength. Better be safe than sorry.
Yes, Logos is superior to Eyja in most ways (with delta mod) and can easily replace GG skill 2. You will be losing out on her third skill which comes with global range but he typically decimates everything.
Okay Dagyo, sorry for out of topic but I just want to tell you a method I've been using since a long time ago to predict an operator appearence in standard banner, by using CN banner list (not 100% works, but ALMOST certainly works) So, the first thing you gotta do is find their previous appearence (either standard banner or J.O.). Other from dates, you can use a special banner (limited banner, J.O., Front That Was, or debut banner) as the base. In this case, I remember that GoldenGlow appears in standard banner, around So Long, Adele (Eyja-Alter banner). After that, you should compare it to the CN banner list, if the operator appears at around the same time, then you should be able predict the next appearences in Global (in CN, GoldenGlow also appeared in January). For the place to find them, since RU-vid will hid this comment, I will just tell you that it is the same place Dagyo used in this video IF in CN, the next appearence was in certain event/limited banner, than you gotta expect the operators to appear atleast 2-4 banners after the standard banners around that certain event/limited banner So for GoldenGlow here, IIRC she was appeared as Shop-Operator around To the Grinning Valley (Ray banner) event. Then in Global she must appeared around that time or at Here a People Sows (Shu banner) With this method, I was be able to predict Młynar in standard banner, by using CN list & move it 4 banners further, which also applied how I be able to predict Thorns in standard banner. Now I've been doing it for GoldenGlow & Nightingale (which if you wanna know, she should appears 2 events after Path of Life (Ulpian banner), although she available in Kernel-Locating for 5th Anniversary tho)
I thought the CN server was way different than EN when it comes to standard banners, but I guess you can use CN banners to predict EN thanks for the info
@@dagyoo it isn't really different. Yes, in some occasion maybe (like how recently, we get Mudrock as a Shop-Operator 2 times while in CN it was only 1 time IIRC) Or how Nightingale apperance in CN was in Jessica-Alter event & we'd only get her recently... That makes 2-3 months differences (which was unusual) Or the Kernel operators shenanigans where Suzuran & Rosa was conaidered as Year-2 operators in CN while we get them as Year-1. They could also ruin the patterns But we'd also get Kal'tsit/Ho'olheyak standard banners before-during Zwillingturme in Herbs... That also happened in CN with exact same operators So yeah, there is nothing wrong to predict it. It's not always accurate but atleast you'll have an image of it
