Welcome to the channel! I usually talk about videography, photography or Final Cut Pro. And occasionally i do a review about camera gear or drop a vlog for you to enjoy.
I am really humbled that there are so many of you that wanna be a part of the community, so if you're new here, welcome!
Appreciate the video, but a LUMIX GH6 w speed booster gets you an incredible production S35 ecosystem, including pro sound inputs, 4:3 open gate for the most versatile multi format filming, as well as great frame marker capabilities, internal ProRes HQ, 120fps 4k, 300fps HD (without a crop) and the best IBIS on the market. Regarding autofocus, if you’re just starting out, learn manual focus first, and don’t get locked into a system because of convenient autofocus. Oh yeah, 12ms rolling shutter speeds as well…
I own a ZV-E1 but the overheating issue is quite serious unfortunately. I don't even record in 4k and the camera does get warm after 10-15 minutes, so I'd still recommend the A7SIII or the FX3, which aren't that expensive if bought used.
I was on eos R + 15-35mm shooter for a while, but you convinced me to switch to Sony :) Now I'm running around with Sony a7iv + 16-35mm f2,8. In backpack I have 55mm f1.8 for photos and b-roll, same microphones and Dji Mini 2. Waiting for v2 of the peak design tripod, until sticking with Pgytech mini tripod. Seems that now I need to get Tri-charger, you are selling gear to me very well :)
Hey Peter why not recommend the new 16-25mm 2.8 instead? It's much cheaper and extremely sharp, just less reach. But a perfect cutoff for a 24-70 as a secondary lens.
@PeterLindgren1 The Avata 2 looks to be amazing!!! Even for intermediates, the FPV line of drones bring a lot more action to a creator's arsenal. I'm planning on getting mine soon, one of these would have served me handy like a couple of years ago. But, like most DJI products, for me it just gives me more ideas for shots, and even some themes and stories to tell. Thanks for the review, Sir!!!
Thank you, Peter! I always click on the like button even before watching any of your videos and never regret it. I had 2 Sony A7III cameras, then sold one and bought FX30 - which was a huge stepping stone for my own business. Now I'm thinking of selling the second A7III to get the ZV-E1 as a full-frame camera. I have a question regarding the shotgun microphone - would you recommend the Sony ECM-M1 mic? Is it the newer and better version than the ECM-B1M? Thanks!
It really is a great camera. You missed out on the amazing image stabilization. The ZV-E1 one was the first camera with the Dynamic active Stabilization which actually makes a gimbal unnecessary for most of your shots.
Awesome Peter! Good to see you reach places! I was wondering if you have incorporated the space for a backdrop, which you might need for product style shoots!
Man can survive even if the world has plummeted into chaos. So much talent Mr. Peter. Hats off to your hard work. Congratulations on your new house Grow bigger
2:47 yes hell of an expensive lens. Starting out the Tamron 17-28 for most is more than enough and a fraction of the cost. Just my 2 cents. Love the video as usual Peter! 🔥
Great video and great advice Peter. 👍 One thing that I’ve noticed since I bought my camera (Panasonic Lumix GH5) is that you should really take your time to research what camera you should buy. Depending on what you will use it for there’s pros and cons for each system. AND the main thing why this is important is that it’s an expensive pain in the b*tt to switch systems (most probably) 😂 Keep up the good work! 👊
Your video is awesome.. but your words is my enlightment. I have ZVE1 and am looking for one lens to-do-it-all. But your words about the reason why ZVE1 is interchangeable, made me realised how dumb i am hunting for one lens only in this camera eco system. I should have bought ZV1 or RX100 VII, if i want a one-lens solution. the interchangeable camera should be used with different lenses.. i know my idea is dumb for one lens fit all, i guess i am but sometimes being idiotic. Anyway Thank you with your wise words, i need to hunt for prime lens now as i have PZ 16-35mm. I always love your contents and i pray your business with battery casing will bring good fortune. I know you have a lot of creative ideas for invention.. good luck sir. 😊
@@PeterLindgren1 I meant that you would rent that your company, but the ownership remains you. If something would happen to your company, you would still own all of them. Improvements depends on the rent contract you do to your own company and yourself, but yeah there is not so much tax benefit in that case, like VAT.
Rode has more bass to its voice recording compared to DJI Mic 2. The other main takeaway, DJI Mic 2's Noise "reduction" I would say rather than cancelling, I picked up the mic 2 myself gonna have to do a bit of testing and see how well does it cancel noise while recording
Riktigt bra video!!
A WORD OF ADVISE regarding CANON TRICHARGERS! The Canon Tricharger isnt fully functional yet. It has problems with the 2022 / 2023 produced Canon LP-E6NH batteries. I've been in contact with them for several months and they cant get it to work properly. It seems to be charging, but it never shows the right charge/leds. I've got one store bought and one updated example straight from Jupio, they still doesnt work, sad to say. They are having big problems with decoding: "it’s extremely hard to decode the battery status information of the latest OEM LP-E6NH batteries." As of now they say "Right now, we are considering placing a footnote on the product stating that in some cases the Tricharge could show less LEDS than it should." So if you use the LP-E6NH batteries, do consider if to buy this product or not.
Yeah i know about the issue, and it sucks. I've been on it since i heard about it first time, just haven't gotten a good update yet. The unit works as intended, except for the LED's. Still not giving up on a fix for it, but yes, if you use the LPE6NH (only the NH), then it won't be working properly.
Nice video. 👊🤘💙
Its been really fun to watch the journey so far and cant wait to see what the future brings :) Ps: you should look at getting some Rockfon plates glued onto the ceiling and walls, they are perfect for taking away echos etc. We had our entire livingroom ceiling covered in those at our old house and it made a HUGE difference in terms of noice reduction.
Check out the Ulanzi carbon fibre tripod. It doesn't have the same issue with the ball head. It is cheaper and have great ecosystem with their F38 mount.
@@PeterLindgren1 the Ulanzi is 180g lighter, collapsed length is 3cm higher, and cost is about 50% cheaper. Stability wise, both seems pretty bad but you would expect from a compact tripod that my wife is 'happy' to lug around :)
