That is very cool. Beautiful wood grain. Have been watching videos of painting nylon synthetic gunstocks. Your paint technique is very simple and realistic.
Amber this is so so sooooooo cool, I’m actually doing this on my next video. Thank you sooooo much for the inspiration, is it ok to link this video in my description box, so I can show all my subscribers where I got the idea, Ps. I just subscribed to your channel & I can’t wait to watching more of your videos
Hi! My fabric is on my cup, and it has a single layer of mod podge over it so far. My worry is that it looks wet... its a white fabric with images on it and i didnt know if this would go away the more coats I do? PLEASE help
I’ve tried this a few times and I haven’t got it right yet but I’m going to keep trying especially now that I’ve watched the easier way that you did it . I’ll be honest I probably still won’t get it right . lol .. Like you said I don’t want to waste that paper because that’s expensive . 🙂
If you spray more varnish/sealer on at the start, does it slide off more easily with big A4 ones? I have tried 6 times and it's like thin flimsy plastic, and it scrunches up and folds up and sticks to itself. (Hayes paper, Plastikote Clear Super spray done 3 times with an hour to dry for each coat, and the very edges trimmed in case the edge got sealed by the spray. Lukewarm water - all done like all the videos say...) Its impossible!!. Or have I bought the wrong spray?
I don't understand how you managed to do this. I've tried 6 times now, and the top sheet doesn't slide off perfectly like that, its more like cling film/thin food wrap, than a sheet of plastic, and it crinkles up and folds up into a mess. I used Hayes paper and plastikote clear super spray. 3 coats of spray all left for an hour or two in between. It's impossible!!!
That is so cool. Very nice cup. Just bought mermaid scale material. So excited to start , now that l found your channel..Tyfs. Hugs❤️just hit the like. Said it was counted. But l dont see a different number. Didnt go up. Hmmm utube .🌹
I love the video! Thanks for sharing! I hope you can help with my question- what is a good alternative for epoxy? I've researched in my country and none offers an epoxy that is safe to use for tumblers, odorless, and heat resistant. I can't start with my project without a coating to use, or can I proceed without it? Appreciate your help.
Hi Amber, thanks for the great video. I have a question. Why did you use the Matte spray first on your picture? I've never seen that done before. Many thanks!
So I'm hoping you could help me. I know you did this video about a yr ago but I tried this for the 1st time. I printed my image, let it dry naturally for a couple of days, put a clear coat over it so the color wouldn't blend. As soon as I try to transfer the image the color started to I don't know fade, come off on my fingers. What did I do wrong?
I am not sure why it would do that. Just make sure you are using waterslide paper. And maybe spray a couple of coats of the sealer. So sorry that happen though.
