These days there aren’t too many comedians I can watch without hearing some ignorant stuff, but you’re absolutely top tier. I appreciate you. Thank you for helping to brighten my day 💙🏳️⚧️💙
So stunning and brave to support the same woke bs that every major corporation and govt pushes. Flipped from religious nutcases in the 90’s to lgbt nutcases in the 2010’a with a brief moment of peace in the 2000’s. Sick of both sides but especially whichever one is being pushed by the ruling elite on the day.
Thames Water flooded the lower floor of my house; we're still trying to figure out how much damage has been done, but we expect it to be something in the high five figures territory (to say nothing of the radical disruption of our lives). They also destroyed the main road in and out of our village by failing to fix leaks for over seven years - plus several other local sinkholes for good measure. I now am positive that I do not have telekenetic powers, given that none of their executives have spontaneously combusted.
I grew up in Milton Keynes! It's the closest thing I have to a home town as my dad was in the army so we moved around a bit and that's where he decided we should settle when he was discharged. He had the option of London, the place he was born, but no, Milton Keynes was his choice. 🤦 I moved from there 20-odd years ago and hate going back now, it's really gone down hill. Which is saying something! So I completely understand that interaction! 🤣
Joe Lycett is a complete parasite. If the electric goes out, Joe Lycett will blame the state, complete passenger, nobody needs him, his work is not funny and his followers are sheep.
I was lucky enough to have seen the show before "There is a big reveal" was being mentioned and we were all pretty much just enjoying a Joe Lycett bit of fun.......and then the explanation of all his wonderful scheming happened. Tears of laughter turned into tears of joy. Just........wonderful. Thank you, Mummy Joe for making a thing and making the world a bit brighter. ❤
Lgbtq what ever, is just putting barrier/fences around people, Its a divide of the people, so wrong on so many levels Just be yourself and respect Who cares about what you think is oppression of poor lil you! Grow up!
@@whilwheatonIII pushing stupid pronouns and all that jazz is just like religion it’s pointless and it divides people I spend my days to spend life as one! Yet you kids are making it more difficult to love everyone
I’m confused. So you being intolerant of those of us who aren’t part of this ‘community’ (but paid to attend your show) should ‘leave’ is exactly what your community rails against. Is the irony the humor? Hmmmm. Not funny, and so, I will NOT be supporting you. Cheers. Keep the division growing. When you need people like me to do the violent things you can’t, don’t act surprised when you are not near the top of the list of those ‘my people’ will protect first.
I am gay. Do I consider myself part of the ‘community’? Ok, yes, but why do we need to define ourselves by our sexual orientation? I guess history plays its part in this. I hope there will come a time when we don’t actually need a ‘community’.
As you say, history and even the present day play a part in this. But I have to say, I don't want to get rid of the community. Even if we lived in some sort of ideal eorld where there was no bigotry against sexual minorities, I would still want to go to Pride parades. The overwhelming positivity of those events is pleasing whether you are oppressed or not. There's more to queer culture than just fighting for civil rights. There is a history of celebration, of joy! Gay hot spots can become cultural hotspots worthy of anyone's attention. When a straight friend of mine travel to Japan one of the things he saw was a gay bar that apparently had a certain underground cult following. Do you think the only customers of drag clubs are gay people? The '80s may not have been good times for gay people, but everyone was dancing to gay music, they just didn't necessarily know it. It was only after the year 2000 when the kind of activism that you appear to be poo-pooing raised the profile of LGBT people that I learned that many of the pioneering electronic dance music acts that I enjoyed were queer. Why would you want to say we should no longer acknowledge any of that? Even what you describe as defining ourselves by our sexual orientation is not that at all. Does a straight person define themselves by their sexuality if they put a picture of their opposite sex spouse on their desk? Strangely enough no, it's only when an LGBT person does it that it becomes defining themselves by it for some reason. Straight people are allowed to be openly straight. No one tells them to shut up about being straight, no one tells them that they shouldn't define themselves based on that. If Joe had asked the straight members of his audience to identify themselves nobody would be criticizing them for defining themselves by their sexuality. But for some reason if a queer person does it that's what people say.
