I have never related so much to anyone as much as I did when you talked about firing up hammer and not completing it. I have so many unfinished maps that are cool in idea but yeah unpolished. I love hammer it’s so fun and wacky but oh man is it aged
quite late to the party and a new subscriber and i dunno if you'll see this but i have 2 questions; 1) have you played outward? its got these massive maps with strange and colourful environments, it involves a lot of travelling and there's no fast travel as well as no indicator where you are on each map. i feel you might jive with it, but feel free to correct me if i'm wrong 2) are you considering doing any mmo private server where are we now? wandering mmo maps on your own with no other players roaming with you can be a very surreal experience.
Ironically I found your videos while painting 40K miniatures and your style and soft spoken and descriptive way of talking really vibes well with focused painting. Going forward I would love to see you do something like a story explanation of Infra or other walking sims/ puzzle games. Places that you can give your thoughts on the game world and that have that uncanny feeling of reality to them.
hey logan, just want to say that i love your stuff. i haven't watched your elden ring vid yet since i havent even beaten the game yet. i know that theres tons of folks like me that may be putting it off for similar reasons, so dont worry too much about it not popping off as hard as other stuff. some people just arent caught up with new games, and i dont want you to get discouraged because of that. keep making the content you love, man, its always so damn good- i know that source engine games tend to bring in an audience that only wanrs source stuff, but if you keep making videos that youre passionate about, more people will give them a shot and turn into fans of YOU, you know? i guess what i wanted to say is, keep on truckin brother
Thanks bro. I don't really mind too much, I didn't really make the Elden Ring video to be successful, I just had some scattered thoughts about it I wanted to share. I'll be trucking until the sun burns out.
Hey Logan, congratulations on the 10k subs. I am happy to be here from the start, and to see you reach such heights! You deserve this because your videos are so good, and just so damn enjoyable to watch. Keep it up my friend.
I finally watched the first two Terminator movies for the first time with my family this year, and loved them, especially Terminator 2. I just love the character of the Terminator in that movie, and the action is very fun. Anyways, been loving your videos and can’t wait to see more! I’m also of the opinion that the best videos made are the ones on something the creator is really passionate about, and I’m glad you’re taking that approach, I’m down for whatever comes next. Also, if you can figure out how to set it up and organize it, a fan meetup in G-Mod would be awesome
Nice videos you got, unfortunately i missed the Q&A but why not ask it here. What do you think of games which have lore that spreads far and wide, where there's a big world that devs slowly uncover for everyone to see? If you like those ideas you might have heard of small korean indie game studio Project Moon, and their works are definitely worth checking out even a little bit as each game slowly builds upon the world they created. And another thing is that their games can let you understand your emotions better because the way they present it. To be fair i won't be able to explain everything without writing an essay so its better to check it out on your own.
I really like your content, broski. It's just relaxing to listen to some guy talk about the survivability of random places lol. I'd heavily recommend SIGNALIS as a game to play. It's a masterpiece and downright work of art, and if you like HEALTH, the band, they did an entire thing for it.
Your response to the crab leg question is noted, you are third RU-vidr I've got to answer this question and you are the second of those to choose the left pinky
Wild to see someone who just popped up on my RU-vid feed a few weeks ago and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. Say that Tech Noir is one of their favorite songs I don’t see anyone else talk about gunship let alone that specific song… it used to be my favorite of all time. It’s kinda scary how RU-vid can do that.
Heya Mr. From Earth, A random youtube reccomendation sent me to this HL2 mod that removes all the NPCs and lets you wander around an empty City 17. I bet you would get a kick out of it! It's called "Half Life 2 Alone Mod" on moddb. I'd link it but youtube doesn't like that :B
Ooh, you're a Battlefront enjoyer? Would love to see you cover the old BF1 and 2 maps someday, walking around with the bots and music turned off is such an interesting vibe lol
if youre looking for a permanent icon i think a screenshot from this video of a skeleton chilling in a big comfy chair would be good ""branding"" , maybe commission something from someone of that for a feel. also insane to me you havent played portal two fully yet, hope that rainy day comes soon
You’re style of video is absolutely enthralling, I find your commentary so relaxing that I’ve fallen asleep to your voice once or twice. I think what you’ve made is super cool and I’ve yet to find anything on RU-vid that scratches this particular itch like you do. the way you can just talk about anything, wether it be about gmod maps, your personal life, or even just the little jokes you make, I absolutely adore it.
