Is it a truck... yep. Is it as valuable as other trucks for the same price... no. Though I should say it depends on your use case. If you are like me and you haul stuff around all the time its hard to beat a gas/diesel truck. The utility in the vehicle for me is really its towing and distance. For example, on a road trip my f150 with an extended range tank can go around 700 miles before needing a refuel. In the winter I routinely tow my 28ft enclosed steel snowmobile trailer 200 miles round trip in the mountains in a day if I'm chasing snow, and in many places there arent fast chargers / any chargers. Now that being said if my typical road trip wasn't from CO to FL or I wasn't hauling heavy equipment all the time (construction) I might be able to get behind it. But all that being said, go have a seat in a Platinum series Ford truck and the interior quality will blow you away. It's pretty awesome when you can sit in absolute comfort while confidently hauling a 22,000lb excavator with a gooseneck trailer. (I do that with a f450)
Other $100k trucks have way more utility though. Like being able to tow a trailer to a race without stopping every 100 miles, unhitching & recharging for an hour. Also, I could haul those logs with my wife's Chevy Bolt and my $500 Harbor Freight trailer lol. Would be cool to see a short video just showing you going to a race (with no trailer 😉) and showing you hauling and charging the bike. Maybe camping at a hare scramble weekend like a lot of guys do and using the power outlet for different things. The Stark Varg with its 240V charging would be perfect. If you could sleep in the back, I could see this as a decent 1 man race weekend vehicle.
It isnt technically. With the poor range every single electric dirt bike has! We are obviously still in the beggining stages of E dirt bikes / motorcycles. Because god almighty i would love one but choose to not buy one due to how horrible the range is on any E dirtbikes. I just have a honda grom and crf150r. I'd like to get a surron or something similar but to have at least 100 120 legit miles of range MINIMUM. And that's with aggressive riding. Those surrons get like 40 miles of range. Pffft pathetic. The ultra bee what 60? For over 8k too??? PFFFT. HELL NO. The fun will be over so quickly.
It’s not there yet. Not even close. They can’t go the same distance as gassers and are much more difficult to work on should a breakdown occur. Most of them are controlled by a centralized source as they are attached to apps for updating software. Good luck with that when they want to shut down your transportation. Don’t believe me? Just look at how many courts have been able to shut Tesla car owners down from being able to drive for various legal issues. Not to mention the countless videos of the batteries overheating and catching fire. Also… when the EMP attacks begin to hit, you will all be stranded.
God bless everyone and their families, friends, loved ones, animals, and pets. Stay safe and strong and may the Lord be with us all every millisecond of the day and night. Rip to all y’all’s losses and stay safe and strong. Have faith in the Lord he is coming back whenever the time is right the Lord will make it happen. God bless you all❤🙏🏼
I saw another video showing the front fender rubbing the back of the cab on the top glass when the bike is strapped in… isn’t that what’s happening for you?
Just looked at my MX4 and my bracket is way different. It has two allen key bolts up top and two more down low. All eith lock washers. Maybe they improved this with newer models?
I think in one of your previous bike (Talaria if I'm correct) you had upgraded to 85 fork, which I did too. Do you think it would still be worth on UB?
Great content as usual. I have the ultra bee and just installed a torp tc1000. Im on factory battery but can pull 19.5kw. I set up S as all in and D with 15kw. Huge difference. Im just saving for a larger battery atm but it would transform your bike like it did mine. Then it will be holeshots all day.....
even if electric is “there”… why would people even run it? 😂 “Yea dewd my bike sounds like a toy car!” like imagine what it would be like watching a race with all electric bikes. It would just be silence, and silence in the crowd too since nobody wanted this.
Dude if you are riding in that type of stuff you need full wrap hand guards instead of those janky roost deflectors. Full wraps are confidence inspiring, and it is only a matter of time until you break a lever and/or finger running without them.
I actually came to see EIB's channel to see what kind of hand guards he's using on his Ultra Bee! I agree, I am used to the wraps .. probably cut down handlebars a bit and install some wraps. I am nowhere as good as EIB, but when I dump the bike, I find having the full handlebar wraps make it a much better place to pick up the bike. any suggestions for hand wraps? I don't care for any plastic on them, just some good aluminum bars!
@@KNKLHEAD I got some cheap universal JFG Racing handguards from Amazon. They don't fit the best and I had to put a metal sleeve on the inside bar mounts but they work for now. Thursday I am going to the bike shop and will see if they have anything better.
