Cool upgrades to the UB. I am surprised you havnt done the new controller forpre power with those monster tires. I am about to test a Snow Leopard that should have some of those features already but I am sure it will need some upgrades too.
How hard is it to swap between the 82V battery and the stock battery? I'm thinking of getting the upgraded battery while keeping the stock. Then I could ride the trails until the 82V gets low and swap back to stock fr another couple hours of riding. I'd sell the stock but market doesn't seem good for the stock battery. I'd consider buying another stock battery, but that doesn't solve my problem. I like getting deep into the woods and can't really do that with stock battery.
Your bike looks sick! Love the vids by the way. I still have the light bee but I’m not sure if I wanna upgrade… Also gotta love the ford ranger! How you pulling your surron with that just curious?
These bikes end up costing so much money when you get them set up to actually ride. They really should come stock with real wheels and better suspension for the price. Otherwise, gas bikes still make so much more sense. You carry 1 liter of gas and it will get you another 5-10 miles back to the truck in a pinch.
How/where did you get the bar pad with the Surron brand on it. I looked online and only found the yellow pad covering but it didn't have the surron brand. It was just plain yellow.
Bro you have to upgrade the controller to get the most out of your battery. Being able to adjust the torque delivery can be really beneficial to getting more range on your bike. Or having more power when you want to race.
Love these upgrades. Did you stick with the stock sprocket? I just ordered the bash guard extension. It's now $60 including shipping. Still a good route though. I didn't want to replace the stock bash guard. That battery upgrade is pricey. Gonna have to wait on that one.
What is the difference in weight between the stock battery and your upgraded EBMX battery? I've been thinking about getting another battery but I take my ultra on the MX track pretty frequently and don't want it weighed down.
With the upgrade battery, you are able to power much more power if you have an aftermarket controller. With both an upgraded controller & battery, some people run this bike on mx track at 30kw. In my chase I JUST have the upgraded battery while still running the stock 12.5kw. So what it does for me is give me much more range.
Hi, Thank you for the video. I would like to ask two things. First - Have you ever problem with the belt drive? I mean it could be fall any pieces of wood or rock or any into the drivebelt? I ask because my Talaria' front sprocket always "eats" some wood pieces or any small pieces when i ride in the forest between the trees and leaves. I made chain guard for the front sprocket, but it still "eats" the pieces and it cause horryble noises, like when gearbox cracking, knocking. Second - I know this bike is totally different ( i tried the UltraBee) but, how you feel with compared to your Talaria? It was worth to switch to UltaBee from Talaria? I ask because of the wheels, suspension, brakes, power, etc. So could you tell me, can ever Talaria beat some ways the UltraBee if you compare them? So it is possible to build a same parameter bike from Talaria, like UltraBee? ( i think your answer will be: "No, Talaria never be the same or better than UltraBee, because Talaria is based on a bycicle. And of course i choosed to sell it, because it was not worth to spend more money to continue upgrades) Thank you!
No, I haven't had any problems with the belt drive (besides having to chain it when it wears). As for the question as to what I think about Ultra Bee Vs Talaria Sting. I think if your going to upgrade your Sting, just buy the Ultra. It will be cheaper in the long run & the bike is design for more power.
@@electricisbetter So practically you answered me what i know and feel nowadays when i ride with my Talaria and thinking of the upgrades. However, thank you for the answer. Have a nice day!
Awesome looking setup! Do you think that if you went to a 53 or 54T rear sprocket over stock you might get even more range? Or would that not make any difference at all with the bigger battery?
What's your height? Can you comfortably stand and ride? I got my Ultra today, but when I stand and ride, it feels off. Not sure if I should get handlebar risers, opt for raised handlebars like ODI, or lower the foot pegs. Help?? I'm 6'1".
