Kinda wimpy to destroy an awesome plant because a possum was in it. It's not like it was a poisonous rattlesnake or something dangerous. He probably scared the poor possum.
Went there all the time just off of 19th street and fair the best food ever from like 1971 until forever. I remember those booths or that style of booths they had. The sign and the OG Italian Grinder. I wish they would ship me a few.

Fantastic history so many great American riders grew up on that track and became speedway stars. I saw Bobby Schwartz race in New Zealand at a track called Ruapuna in I think 1983. It is a big track 400Mtrs and he rode the concrete wall all the way around and I mean right on the wall I have never seen anything so spectacular before or since. He is a racers racer that is why he still rides.
WOW, where do I begin? I love Craftsman homes and yours is one of my favorites. You have done an amazing job with all of your renovations while keeping in the Craftsman period. It is so warm and inviting and yet modernized where appropriate. I am a Realtor from Monrovia which is filled with renovated Craftsman homes and that is where my heart is. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing story and wonderful home and your paintings and drawings are amazing as well.
Costa Mesa needs more pickleball courts . You have the rec center indoor courts (3) that are available for 3.5 hours and probably have at least 40 people each day waiting over a half hour to play . After that it’s for basketball and maybe have 6 people playing . How about allowing more time for Pickleball. Share the time …. We are the main taxpayers of the city !!! Then you have a couple of courts over by Costa Mesa golf course that are hidden and don’t have fencing to keep balls from being chased !! Infront of Rec center is a huge rose garden , why not replace it with outdoor courts and move the roses elsewhere where ??? Seems that we the taxpayers don’t get heard !!!!
What are you going to do about Officer Torres? Video after video have proven that you have a immoral, angry, and burned out individual working as a police officer in your force and it's just a melatter of time before he does another stupid thing on camera. This type of goodwill outreach that your department has filmed is tarnished, tainted, by your glaringly obvious bad apple. He makes your department, and your city, appear corrupt. Every one of these students you helped will see Officer Torres on youtube and will rethink the help you gave them this Christmas. In the long run, his ill will will destroy your goodwill.
Just saw another video about your traffic cop, officer Torres. That guy is a menace to society--petty, hostile, retaliatory, and generally ignorant of the law. It's hard to appreciate your community or her accomplishments when you allow a bad cop to taint your force, your city, and your residents. Your house is filthy and you need to clean up.
Wow. That is great. I used to live on Joann street near there. Next time I am in Costa Mesa, I have to go see that. Thanks to Peggy, Becky and all the others who made it happen.
