OMG ! Where is their PPE ? No gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, any rotating equipment must have guards around them, and the work must also be guarded while rotating !! Someone is going to get hurt ! Western culture has been utterly ruined by lawfare.
Beautiful work ! I can't understand why people in the far east choose to work from the ground. Of course, my back aches just watching them. That could be a product of me working on my feet off of tables my entire life also ! I can only squat like they do for about a minute before I fall over !!
And now you know how people made all of those beautiful vases and bowls from Egypt that some keep saying had to be made with some lost ancient unknown technology ! Albeit with much more rudimentary tooling, powered by either water, animals, or humans. As far as cutting tools, a simple piece of flint will do. I find people that assume our ancestors were incapable of producing items such as this to be arrogant. It would have taken much more time and labor, but clearly they were doing it. I'm sure these craftsman would have a good laugh at someone claiming that they couldn't produce these items with some fairly simple machines and tooling.

People can't build anything today without a bubble and measuring tape ! Without them, the eyes, and feel of the hands are far more accurate when used only and skill is built. Unless your working on complex machinery.
It's interesting that some cultures feel that bits of shinny metal enhances the natural beauty of wood grain. Personally, I think the Wooden Hotpot would look much better without the brass inlay. Like they say, "less is sometimes more".
