They are in dire need of black jewelry appraisers. It cost over $100 to value a piece of jewelry. Too many wind up selling to pawn shops. If they could get it appraised, they could sell on eBay or to each other.

I started my locs with a loctician and I was young (19 and very quiet) now I'm older(24) and I want to do it myself, she sort of did it her way, I didn't know much about locs at that time, I know more now. I want to restart my locs for that personal connection, knowing it in and out. Starting over after 5 years!🎉
I followed you stepped on 9/10/24 on 9/14/24. I received a call to come in for any interview on 9/19/24 after that I had the 2nd interview the next day 9/20/24 Now my nerves is all torn up!!! waiting for an offer. As I was leaving the interview the clock said 1:11…the company I applied for I started seeing the company car near my house or just on the road. I know this is MY JOB!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I definitely have been in a transition space from my past during my loc journey and the new chapter I’ve entered and entering I’ve been contemplating on letting them go. I want to find someone who can do them because I’m definitely scared to do it myself.

I'm new here but I really appreciate the rawness & spiritual aspect of your video. My mom passed October of last year & next month will make the first full year without her being physically here so I definitely can relsonate with those feelings. Amazing video!
Did you put your locs in during 2020? I was watching a video on combing out locs in 2024 that said many of the people doing so are at the 4 year mark and started during lockdown which makes sense
This is beautiful but I feel like you may be ending your loc journey by now (2024) because a lot of bleaching etc doesn't seem to promote the best locks long term
Thank you for this video, and I could not agree more! I am a now retired flight attendant who had 27 years with my airline and 37 years in the industry total. It was a completely different job when I first started. Then 9/11 happened and everything changed. However, the passengers started changing and becoming mean even before 9/11. I had too much time invested at that point to quit, so kept plugging along making it work. As an empath myself, I totally get where you're coming from, and here is why: Not only does being a fly attendant suck the life out of empaths, irate passengers physically threatened me, as well as threatened my livelihood. Two flying partners had both been physically assaulted by irate passengers on two different flights because they were told their meal choice was unavailable or they had to check their carry-on. At one point, I was keeping a log book of every confrontation with passengers and other employees in case I needed notes in a grievance hearing (that's how bad things were getting). No, it was not me being a problem. In 27 years, I rarely got a holiday or weekend off and missed so much, including a dear aunt's funeral and a childhood friend's remembrance of life after he died. I would often cry driving to the airport and again driving home. Although the job was a great education and I got to see places I never would have, the job is also a thankless one (and yes, very unhealthy for one's mental and physical well being). As soon as I retired, the blood pressure went back to normal, the color came back to my face, and, my life is more Zen-like and centered now. Also, as a vegetarian (32 years), I very much relate to your food situation while flying. Since retirement, I now am mostly vegan due to having the ability for cooking most meals at home every day. 😊 Take care, and keep manifesting and raising your vibration! There IS life after the airlines! 👍👍
This is helping me so much!! I’m not engaged yet but my love and I went ring shopping (his suggestion 🥹❤) and we’ve spoken very intentionally on our future together plus prayed over our wedding. Thank you for your input…..We are desiring a beach (mid-size) wedding!!
