Never put any grease on the brakes that isn't silicone brake grease. Only apply the silicone brake grease to the caliper pins. If you put grease anywhere else it will gum up with brake dust. FYI

Looks good. Just paid deposit on a '99 750 Katana I plan to fighter. I have a GS500E in bits which I plan to swap over what parts I can such as bars with mirrors and heated grips, round headlight. Just curious how the speedo is mounted? Is that the original top yoke? Also what brackets have you used for the headlight? I don't know yet if I'll be able to use the GS500 headlight brackets but I suspect the forks will be bigger on the heavier Kat so probably not. The GS has some nice little led indicators I plan to swap over along with the led flasher relay. If you could help me with the couple questions I have it would be fantastic.
I think taking the front fairing off looks really cool but I have a liquid cooled bike and am quite worried about debris hitting my radiator, should I worry or not?
I drove mine like that for a year and thousands of miles with no issues. It did get a lot of bugs in it, but not a lot of debris. You can buy or make radiator shields, which work well at protecting them in general.
Not legal. And pretty much 100% ineffective since most cameras are carefully positioned to be directly in line with the tag - on curves in the road, ect.
So odd my can doesn't say to vacuum when dry. That is why I came here to see what other people did because that part seems odd to scrub and just leave it 🤷🏼♀️ like there are literally no directions after scrub it in.
I had an older running bike I didn't use in the garage. I thought I'd give Rumble On a try. Big mistake. They offer no money and then act like it's a top dollar transaction asking for more pictures and so on. When you are paying scrap value, come pick the thing up and take it away. If I wanted to play many questions and send pictures of this, that and the next I'd have put it on craigslist. Long story short, I get a better deal donating it and taking the write-off. With far less hassle. Sorry Rumble on your loss is the American Kidney Foundation's gain.
There are…. The size of the plate has made it interesting to fit the entire mechanism in, but I am hoping to roll out a motorcycle version in a few months.
