Wow. So the effects are doing all the work huh? It makes me think of how it wasn't James Earl Jones in Darth Vader's suit, just a guy doing a comparatively high-pitched voice that James dubbed over lol.
even if you dislike it for other reasons, you have to at least admit that the clone wars series was amazing solely for featuring more of amazing characters like grievous...

I'm so glad they seem to be bringing a "Terrifying Grievous" back to Star Wars with the new animated show that's coming. He deserves some genuine time being a terrifying presence. I feel like a lot of the "problems" with his appearance in The Clone Wars comes from the writers wanting to have him there, then accidentally writing themselves into a corner cause all the people he inevitably fights have plot armor in the sense they all need to appear in the main movies. The moments we see of him where he's not constrained by that he lives up to the lore around him. The jedi were by all accounts terrified of him, and viewed him as their biggest threat, I hope they dive into that.
Another problem is the early cancelation of the show. The son of dathomir comics have some of the most ruthless grievous scenes in any medium. If that was animated, we would have a different picture of him.
Between Grievous, every single battle droid, and supervising the sound design of nearly every Star Wars outing since the Prequels, this guy’s been punching well above his weight.
