Less than a week ago, my favorite actor of all time Ian McDiarmid returned to voice my favorite character of all time Sheev Palpatine in the latest episode of the Bad Batch. This mid-season episode duology ended up being one of my favorite parts from these last 2 seasons and I VERY greatly enjoyed it, ESPECIALLY thanks to the marvelous way in which Ian once more portrayed this iconic villain!
In fact, McDiarmid's performance in this episode takes place as my personal favorite of his ever since Star Wars Rebels, possibly even taking the lead!
To honor the actor and show my appreciation for the character (as well as to my practice my skills at imitating McDiarmid), for this video, I decided to dub over the original voice with my best impression/impersonation. I did my absolute best to try and replicate Ian's manner of speech, pitch, tone, accent and everything else and think it turned out pretty awesome! Please watch and judge for yourself!
