Yep, no one can play the Emperor better than him. Despite me hating the characters. Guts I won’t have any issues with the actor, especially since he’s one of the many few begin Star Wars.
Well he is definitely a fantastic actor! As for him looking twice his age, I am not sure if I entirely agree, I think he looked fairly young in the 70s. Besides, we literally have no photographic evidence whatsoever of him before he was in his later 30s, so we can't judge fully.
A great video! I have never understood people saying he always looks old. He’s phenomenal on screen and on stage. You did forget a few things he was in. 😊
Thanks a MILLION for posting this!!! I'm in the middle of a fan fic with a younger Palpatine than we saw in TPM, and this is SO helpful to have as a reference. Although, I have to ask why people always characterize Palpatine as a redhead. Ian's hair is more of a sandy brown throughout this.
He is portrayed as a redhead because the Darth Plagueis novel portrays an adolescent Palpatine as red haired. If you're interested in Palpatine's younger years at all I STRONGLY recommend that novel, it is my favorite Star Wars novel.
