I’m not gonna lie this has been the most helpful video I’ve ever watched ever!!! Maybe it’s the way you explain or the way you show the playing material but I watched this 2 years ago played the game for about 6 months and haven’t touched it for 2+ years but every single rule is drilled into my head like my brain created a spot just for the rules. Thanks for this masterpiece. And do wish to see you play it again on the Chanel. 🙌
One of my friend told me this ,keep the hideout nearer to the victim ,and its easy for ripper to hideout And end the night successfully ,I replied him what bullshit are you talking ,If I apply your idea ,Its spoil the entire gaming experience ( As I correct Plz someone tell ME)
Watched the first ten lantern years. Loved it. You do a great job on here. I'm about to start my first gamblers chest dream keeper campaign in about 2 weeks. Your videos helped me prepare for it
So I have question? About the Hunter tokens. So for example say there's 3 hunters playing. The previous hunter phase it says only 2 hunters can act, and after they do so they turn their tokens face down, and etc. On the next turn for the hunters, say the card says 2 Hunters can act again, does that mean only the 3rd hunter can act since he didn't go last turn, or can the previous 2 hunters attack again???
The third hunter takes their turn, and when they finish, all tokens flip back up. At that point, any of the three hunters can take their turn. Make sense? When all the tokens are face down, they all flip
I feel like some of the time cards are really busted. Monster retreats just drops 4 time cards, a roar can drop up to 6, monster sleeps heals AND removes broken tokens... Game is harder than the video game :O
It can be disparaging, but the game isn’t that hard or long. Losing one game out of 4 should be ok even if it seems unfair. It just means you need to perform that much better if you want a 100% win rate. If the only losses you experience are unfair ones, I think that’s just how the game works and becomes the challenge you need to incorporate and overcome. Or not- if that’s not what you like, then that’s fair
Got a question about the rules, we broke 3 body parts of the barroth but ran out of time, do we still get the reward for the broken parts like in the videogame?
Wife and I just got this and this video helped a ton! She understood right away but I needed a visual component to help explain some of the finer details. Thanks a bunch! Love the minis by the way. I just started painting mine too! :D
This is a unboxing video I can actually watch there is none of that drawn out crap none of that spinning the box around and picking it up 20 times before he opened it I hate it when the presentation is all about getting you to watch it till the end it’s a cheap way to get views just open the damn box already!!! Thank you for making a unboxing video that didn’t make me want to stab my eye out with a pencil or bite through my lip ❤
I am now on my 3rd attempt to try and learn this game and I want to enjoy it so much. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who finds the rulebook awful and this video extremely helpful! Thank you so much! 3rd time IS the charm!
Can somone explain me how the campaigns work in the game? Are all the boxes connected or you pick any one as you please and it will have its own storybook to follow?
By boxes, do you mean the gathering phase story nodes? It’s a choose-your-own-adventure format, but you have to start at the designated start point (entry 1 for assignment quest, and entry 2-5 for investigation quests). Sometimes they are connected and can loop back around to other starting points, but they generally have unique paths although some can retread ones you’ve already seen before.
I'm not sure if I happened to miss it in the instructions or what, but I cant tell what the second dial is for on the monster health tracker. The one with the single digit values
Great Video. I love your pace and insights to help prepare us for the GC. I am still finishing my first people of the lantern campaign but excited to dive into this world more.
I hear you, but I’m traumatized by immortal because it always gets put on survivors with like 2 insanity with no reliable way to get more without getting whacked
@@CynicallyAwesome I really enjoy it in the showdown phase (it can suck in the hunt phase, due to spend survival or die events) since basically your insanity is a damage buffer until you drop below 3 then you can use all the survival you have stored up . Since it only prevents you from using survival while insane . It only really sucks when combined with that disorder that always makes you count as insane
I may be wrong here. But i thought wheh you gain your principle for death, you actually dont get the benefits of the survors who may have triggered that milestone. So you shouldnt have gained 2 basic resources for your 2 fallen mates. Otherwise, love the videos!
You are correct. I did go back to correct the extra person dying (removing the bone blade), but we’re getting too far to give back the other resource- I think I used it 🤔
Wow! The smoothest hunt I have seen sofar :D Thanks for sharing, loved every minute and further happy endeavours! Was a bit too quick and wrote before the settlement event :P Ouch ^^
Yea, I’m slowly building towards it, but I tend to spend the lantern on the thing I think is rarer, it was just unfortunate the butcher only gave me 1…
