What state are you in? I just installed a GM reman 6L80 in my 2016 Silverado and it has a shudder from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. Torque slip acrual and desired are 500 rmps apart. Bad converter right from GM? I took to the dealer i bought it from and they said until the check engine light comes on they wont do anything. The original trans failed no warning or lights!

Unfortunately, when I went to pull the pump out. The drum came with it after putting everything back. I still don't have any pump. Ing. Is there a special way to align the drum back in it

Can a bad clutch cause vibrations during idol, I have jetta 2.0 tdi that's having some slippage on long use in even gears, and also some shudder moving from standstill. Actually 2 years back the dsg oil cooler leaked and damaged the clutch pack to an extent, it was replaced in warranty though but ever since that this problem is slowly increased. DMF was already replaced twice in warranty so noise from that ever since.
I have a 2004 Chevy impala 121K 3.4 liter. If your getting that ! 811 Longshift code but it's still running fairly well how long could it possibly last? takes an extra second or 2 to go into 3rd. It's smoother when I give it a lil more gas. Because I'll clear the code which does not trigger the check engine light and the code does not come back often but eventually comes back all the time. I put in some Lube guard and Lucas Non Slip which has improved the shifting a bit. This has been going on for almost a year and it's still running fairly good. Could it last a couple more months? I always look at connections before installing. Seen this before on other things so been through the pain. Leed frame is not engaged to the solenoid tabs.
A lot of you who rebuild transmission remember the 700R4 and the front seal and pump bushing would come forward and the fix was wired wheel the paint off the seal and put red locktite on both to stop that problem sounds like the same problem what happens to aluminum when gets hot the bushing moves
Hey man I rebuilt my 94 4l60e almost a year ago on my camaro and was working great no leaks (my first transmission rebuild ever) I only had like 500 miles on it, I only use the car some weekends. Thing is a couple weeks ago I went on a 40 mile trip and the transmission cooler failed, huge leak I dont know at what point in the trip it happened but when I got home it was shifting weird and had very slow reverse, very low on fluod. I replaced the cooler and refilling I accidentally overfilled the transmission but didn't notice it. Then I went to a test drive for like 6-8 miles and the transmission was working good just a bit harsh on the 1-2 shift but felt back to normal. I noticed the fluid level and took some fluid out to get it to the correct level. Thing is now it has a leak which seems to be from the pump seal, do you guys think that the low fluid due to the cooler leak caused the torque converter to overheat and damaged the seal? I don't really know cause I need to take the converter cover out to really see what's happening but the fluid it's coming from that area for sure and I think it's the only place it can leak but I might be wrong
Hey guy what will make one randomly shift hard in 2nd up an down shift only 2nd gear does it an never on a load just creeping light throttle it will bang hard an 2nd up an down shift just randomly not all the time i tried a zip kit but that didn't fix it

Thank you now I no what is actually happening inside the transmission with this valve and it's not just a tork coveter issue..yes we have a 20017 Silverado V 6. We are doing the delete kit . wondering my trans cooler lines are in the radiator so we're thinking it would be fine as the old style tranny were to...we are also doing the 4 cylinder disabler..I mean uneven were to the motor comes to mind out side of a lifter fail..
