Popped in for a quick tip with curly hair- when the barber or stylist wets your hair and pulls it tightly in their fingers as they cut it, they’re pulling out the curl and giving you a straight haircuts. Curly haircuts ARE straight haircuts, and except for a few very niche curl specialists, most curly hair is straightened in some manner (even if just pulled straight by hand for the moment it’s cut) before it’s cut. The way geometry and anatomy intermingle to tailor a haircut to the head isn’t exclusive to curls, wave, or straight hair, it’s all the same haircuts- again, except for certain specialty curl experts. In 95% of cases when I do a haircut on a curly client, even if they wear it curly, we straighten the hair at some point to check the cut, because curls can hide imperfections but straight hair shows them.
The tattoos I like the most on people are when they COMPLIMENT the persons physique, like the tattoo isn't just a random flat tattoo, but it's shaped and curved in such a way to kinda make a person look more aesthetically pleasing. Like Maya Sayoko or whatever her name is she has tattoos that I think strategically makes her stomach looks more thin and kinda works with her curves. For men I think you could basically use tattoos almost like cel shade shadowing in order to add depth. You could probably use tattoos to emphasize the things you want people to focus on and kinda hide the things you don't want people to focus on. I also like the patchwork tattoos because they almost add a marbling effect to the skin. I am not a huge fan of heavy sleeves because they can make the arm lose definition it almost makes everything look flat.
Let’s see more of the hairstyles and less of you. We want to see the hairstyles. Not you talking more than half the video. Yes have yourself in it because that’s good to put yourself out there man but the content is based around hairstyles. Let us see more of that. Respectfully.
I have very very oily hair. I have a hairstyle and I know how to get it. But when I do that, it trades my hair smell for how it looks. Its so bad to the point where if I dont shampoo for one day the next day it smells awful. What do I do? (FYI im in school currently)
