Accuracy 1st Company in America has a unique level. No liquid or bubble. There is a curved glass tube with hash marks. These hash marks show a specific decemal MOA amount. Not only can you level the rifle. You can actually determine the amount of cant to get the offset of your barrel to overcome the spindrift for faster shots. The glass tube is U shaped so the ceramic ball will go opposite of a bubble.
Nice review, however if you want a real SILENT shotgun it Has to be .410 - go for the Baikal Stealth (York Guns) just a single shot but lovely quality, great pattern and utterly silent. First time I fired it I thought I had a misfire, that's with 3" magnum which is what I use in .410 (not subsonic). I had to fire it onto a pattern plate to make sure it actually fired, I couldn't believe the cartridge had been spent when I looked. The tiny hammer click is the only thing heard. Stunning. Don't know why took me so long to find this one Richard.. keep up the good work, like all your reviews. Wish I had the time. Now I am thinking of splashing out £375 on the A-Tec A12 choke mounted 12 g mod, about the best available in the UK at present I understand?
bought a BT06 and sent it back as the most user unfriendly shooting product have ever come across. Nothing but nothing like the product you have so easily installed. Gave up and sent it back to UK retailer
maybe I'm an idiot here....but mounting the scope to be level...and the gun at a cant...won't it cause the bullet to towards the direction its cantd towards...it wud cause you to have to adjust windage as well as elevation as you adjust it for a different distance. I just don't get y u wud make it tougher to make adjustments instead of adjusting the stock pad to be canted to fit your body better
Have you had a chance to look at the new Gen 3 razor? .. I'm running a 7x35 ATACR now... But I'm always looking for optics... But can't really justify a tangent and I want more magnification then they offer. Scopes I was going to be interested in this year was the zco 8-40. And the Gen3 razor.. Can't wait to hear how it compares to the zco 8x40
Wanted the MH-6 reticle but was told it was sold out and no news of when it will be available again .. settled for the LRM as prices are already rising in EU. Now selling for 4300 euro at some places... So jealous about the US where they can still get it for 1999 dollars...
Richard seeing that you have seen more scopes than the rest of us will see combined in our lives lol, have you ever seen the schmidt 5-45 vs the signtron? Or how does the 12-50 S&B compare to this in optics? Generally I'm more of a fan of smaller scopes like the 5-20x50 ultrashort for a more mobile rifle but just curious
For the light weight rear rest, is there a way to make minor adjustments when in the prone position or is it just the main loosen latch on the side? (i.e a up/down adjust screw)
No MOA yet :( ….. whats 2nd best value in your opinion?? Something with moa. Thanks for coming back to youtube, definitely top 3 favorite channels of all time, we really trust your opinion
Love your scope reviews Richard, missed them a lot. Wow really says something when you say good bye to IOR. I love my Delta Stryker. How much better is the glass?
I had made up my mind to get this scope from Optics Planet for $1,999.00 US dollars, but when I went to the site the next day to order it, it had risen to $2,899.00 which pissed me off 👎🏻so I forgot about it. One guy on Sniper's Hide thought the turrets were not that steady but otherwise though it was a good scope.
I looked at one of these at the SHOT Show. It is a nice 'scope for sure. But, unless it is discounted to a lower street price it will run directly into the Valdada G2 Recon, which here in the States currently lists for less. Yes, I know the G2 is a max 30X 'scope, but I'm really not sure how many people will use the mag range from 30x to 40x unless it's being used for spotting.
Richard, thank you so much for this review. I think you just found my 22 lr scope i will be putting on my Vudoo 360. I was going to get the NF ATACR 7x35x56, but now i can save 1000 bucks and get just as good glass if not better. Thanks again. Brian
Richard! It most certainly does not help......the bank balance! This looks like one of those things you can't afford NOT to but! Thanks for the video, and the previous re rear supports. Best J
Love that adjustable rear bag support. I want one for sure. Great idea Wonder if he will ship to USA or is it going to be just for you guys across the pond?
It will be interesting to see if they can crack the US market. As you say, we know the name in the UK and know they are competition winners, but in the US? Nice review, look forward to seeing more of this scope.
Hello Richard, another good video keep it up, if you were after an out and out hunting scope, swaro 8x50 schmidt 8x56 or zeiss duralyt 3-12x50 which would you go for
