Slight update with the interpretation for the spin result at 0:15 : Changing 謎 to 迷 changes it from "Mysteries" to "Memes", which is what they ended up going with in the end (an encyclopedia of memes). The translation of the text in the clip itself is correct though (encyclopedia of mystery), but it doesn't help that 謎 and 迷 look similar and have the same pronunciation.

Yeah, whenever this sort of stuff happens, the game will send you back to the previous spot you were at that had "solid ground" if you don't move for ~5 seconds (turning in place doesn't count as moving).
Not sure what happened to the video quality at the Sligoo part or the part at around 12:31 :/ The recorded footage was fine, but I guess RU-vid doesn't like parts of the video.
To answer your question about the isekai and time travel, I like to follow along the line that isekai can have time travel but time travel is not isekai. In this case, it's time travel UNLESS the realm in which your character is from did not have any pokemon nor the same ruleset of your typical pokemon game.
