I really love this sound and I´ve tried to recreate it step by step but it doens´t sound as in the video, just from the start the selected waveforms do not sound like yours at all..what might be happening?
Can I tell you my honest feelings - I think this is a mindless way of generating arbitrary, unobjectionable music. Bonobo's music and this music in this video are engaging due to the movement in the timbre of the instruments. But you know what would be even better? Music where the instrument timbre remains interesting, *and* the melodic content is composed mindfully. I think mindful music is always more worthwhile. I think aiming to produce music mindfully results in growth, whereas using simple systems which avoid objectionable melodies results in stagnation. This is my opinion.
I recently demoed Diva, wondering what all the hype was about. I think I got through about 15 presets before the wallet came out. It's so above and beyond in sound quality that even my ragged, untrained ear could tell there was magic inside. There are definitely Fairies at the bottom of this one. Thanks for the tips :)
