I believe you mark one spanner holes to the motor case. You only turn counter clockwise when two spanner holes are equal distance from that mark. You turning too much the way I read it. It's not the two spanner wrench holes from the wrench. It's the two spanner holes near the mark you make.
I have a brand new Sapporo 527. About an hour after I started using it tonight, the iron would not stop steaming, eventually dripping out as a fast leak. Would the plunger be the culprit for this? Any idea what would cause such an issue on a brand new machine?
whoops: turned out I forgot to install the small filter to the inside of the water tank valve before adding the resin and water. Looks like lots of resin had gotten into the plunger and must have knocked it out of place. I was able to follow your steps and clean it out and the plunger works fine now! Thank you!
Very good day, first of all, congratulations on the videos you upload, they are always very useful and have particularly helped me a lot. Please keep uploading videos like this. Please if you can help me with the following: I have a TM-T20ii that sometimes prints perfectly and other times it stops on the first line, check the motor, sensors, clean the head. When it prints the print is of good quality. I have tried it with the startup test by turning off and holding down the “Feed” button and sometimes it prints the entire report, sometimes only the first lines, sometimes up to half and it throws an error. When I turn it on normally, the error light comes on for a second and then goes off (I don't know if it's normal). I have another similar printer and it was working perfectly, but when I cleaned the head (with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol, printer turned off and then I blew to evaporate all the alcohol) the same thing started happening to it (I have seen some people do it). They clean with WD40, I don't know if it is recommended). I don't know if after cleaning you have to reset something. Both printers have less than 4Km of head usage (they last 150KM), when they print the quality is good. However, I don't know if cleaning damages the head, but I followed the steps that the website recommends doing for this purpose. It would help me a lot to know your opinion, if something similar ever happened to you and how you solved it, thank you very much in advance for everything.
wtf? You just replaced it and didn't repair the problem! also how tf did you know that the problem has to be the valve and not something on the pcb like a switch or condensator
Anyone know where the rubber grommet fits into this? I see it on the exploded view in the manual, but I can't figure out where it goes on the actual part.
Sadly my Hi Steam MVP 35 quit heatingthe water. I cannot afford a new setup. The iron is still working. I received a list of repairshops all in other states. Florida and Carolina not doing it any more.. What other steam generator irons do you suggest for use in all my families pressing needs.? I don't want to go back to regular irons. I am spoiled.
Worked perfectly with some alcohol and microfiber cloth. I had sticky buildup on the metal print head. Just cleaned it and printed my labels again and they're perfect. Thanks for the video!
I think this is the part that I need to replace on my ES85AF iron. The parts losr calls it the handle cap switch. Are we talking about the same part here? I will need to order it and want to order the right part.
Just checked the plunger, which was pretty simple. Spring seemed fine, but the switch does not move the plunger when tested as per instructions. No clicking sound. Is there a replacement for the switch?
