Thank you for reading your bible and sharing what you believe. One day we will all stand before God himself and give an account of our actions here on earth, including the information we may have shared with others. Please take a look at the term "sons of God" again. It appears twice in Genesis and three times in the book of Job. They all speak of angels or heavenly beings that have direct access to God. Mankind does not have this access in the old testiment (read Luke 16). In the new testiment mankind is given the power to be called "sosn of God" through Jesus.
The world scriptures have defamed God the most. They have written false things about Him, and have corrupted the minds and intellects of many into believing such stories. The vices are born through body consciousness, which are responsible for evil and sin, whereas soul consciousness is drawing upon the virtues. So think of it as a battle between the souls internal virtues vs the external vices which have come to overthrow our inner kingdom! Over the ages the scriptures have depicted these vices as the Devil, Satan, fallen angels and Ravan, but in reality they are the vices within the soul that cause us to go against God's natural order.
If you don't read bible you will be deceived by the devil with bible lessens like this. It almos sounds true, it almos convince people from church but it's not true what he teaches, job chapter 1 and 2 says that the sons of God came to the presence of God and the devil came with them, that means fallen angels ,juda chapter 1 versus 6 says fallen angels did not keep their proper domain but left their own abode , He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgement of the great day. So fallen angels guys not human humans don't go to the presence of God flying, and abusly not two times, because job chapter 1 and chapter 2 days they came to the presence of God twice. Men don't fly flesh can't resist presence of God
Could we be talking about two different types of humans. Like Sons of God that are intellectually, spiritually, technologically superior. The men are a lower human. It would not be ok to mingle with those humans... You get the point.
Genesis 1 is the Gods (Elohim - plural) creating everything. Genesis 2:4 on is Yahweh, the start of his specific tribe and his inherited portion. This explains things like how Cain was able to find a wife, the divine counsel, and why he was at war with other Nation Gods.
Excellent wisdom, the Biblical incidents, parables, 'knowledge guidance' replicated in the Torah, Quran, BhagwadGita, Vedas etc are incidents in phases of Earth Life that each human experience passes through, the prophets and women named are each one of us in our experiences. No human flesh can be a God, and God does Not beget Humans, Humans are a 'Word Creation' 'BE & 'it' IS. & Uzair Jesus are not sex products, they are black stinking mud dust moulds for the Soul, Soul is of another dimension, the 'earthly trial' dimension is its amalgam. The question is that "has the pure innocent soul to be touched by mire to let mire over power it for rebellious disobedience to its Manufacturer? What is the enigma???
You need lot of mental gymnastics in order to sanitize this story. I’m sure it will be used at the next school board meeting to defend the Bible while attempting to ban other books
How incredibly good and trustworthy god is, I would love to have had you say those exact words to all the fallen kids of Uvalde and sandy hook just before god let them get put down. And then make all the excuses for why this would happen to them to keep gods hands clean.
Noticed for the first time reading this chapter that it begins "At that time, Herod the rule" - made we think "what time?" - chapters 14 and 15 then continue with every story linked with words like 'then' or 'after' or 'immediately' right through until the end of chapter 15 - is this an insertion of some kind?

I feel the bible better supports the Sons of God being angels and not humans . You explain each point clearly but there is a few adjusting and assumptions you would need to make in-order to fit your point . The Sons of Gods being angels however needs no adjusting you just need to read the verses . You made a point that it was only humans that were called the Sons of God . Let’s see if this is correct Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.” Job 1:6 NKJV When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy? Job 38-7 NKJV. What is interesting is that the Sons of Gods in the last verse is talking about creation so humans did not exist yet. You also make a point that only humans Got punished and not the angels in Gen 6. Let’s see if this is correct . “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.” I Peter 3:18-20 NKJV So above is talking about Jesus who died and then made live but he went to go and preach to the spirts in prison. Take note the days of Noah is mentioned again straight after. Who are these spirits . Let’s see. “When angels sinned, God did not let them go free without punishment. He sent them to hell. He put those angels in caves of darkness, where they are being held until the time when God will judge them.” 2 Peter 2:4 ERV As you can see the spirits in prison that Jesus preached to were angels and they also got punished for what they did . If you read the next verse it talks about Noah and the flood again indicating the connection of these Angels and the flood. Now let’s see what these Angels did. “And remember the angels who lost their authority to rule. They left their proper home. So the Lord has kept them in darkness, bound with everlasting chains, to be judged on the great day. Also, remember the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other towns around them. Like those angels they were full of sexual sin and involved themselves in sexual relations that are wrong. And they suffer the punishment of eternal fire, an example for us to see.” Jude 1:6-7 ERV Did you see that the Angels left their home or domain and then was Compared to sodom and Gomorrah to what the Angles did ? It says sexual relations. Wow that was only using the bible to explain all this didn’t need any explanation just using the verses . We haven’t even need to use outside sources like Josephus or the book of Enoch who supports this theory. This is why I think the Sons of Gods were angels. At the end of the day this will not get you to heaven ? But it’s good to dwell into the scriptures and to use the bible itself to prove your point. Stay blessed .
Chapter 2 is not a retelling, the details would not be different in a retelling. Chapter 1 says men and women, plural, were created and told to fill the earth. Adam was created alone and placed in a garden where Elohim walked. Clearly two different assignments.
1 is the summary of creation. 2 (etc) is more details of the creation summary. Genesis 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
Genesis 1 is Lucifer and the fallen angels. They made man in their image. (tares) Man is an idol, a trap for angels. Genesis 2:7 the Lord God formed His representative in THEIR system. (wheat) Only one Gospel: The Gospel of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of ELOHIM(gods). REPENT FALLEN ANGELS
They had freewill, but it was inevitable for them to both fail in their given unique roles being human and innocent, opposed to the snake's skill and cunning. That they were innocent with no experience may not be an excuse, but I think that God's prime intention to place that tree there :) because He already knew, was to implement His plan to have Jesus Christ come as Saviour through the line of David. Through Jesus, God would be able to display to humans the full spectrum and more of His attributes of His nature and character in a greater measure of love grace, compassion, mercy, comfort, and all the host of different names and titles that Jesus has that describe Him. It's all to His Glory :) and that's where everything lines up and ends up as. His Glory. The Bible says God's ways and thoughts are higher than ours; we are called to walk by grace through faith. Is there a commentary that talked about these parallels? I don't think I ever noted the ones to Joshua 2.. obviously the one in Judges is known (Judges 19-21) Thanks for this!
Men and women were created and told to fill the earth and subdue it. It requires multiple people to fill the earth. After the creation narrative ends, we are told how Adam is made. He is placed in Eden, the garden of Yahuah. Eden was frequented by other Elohim as indicated by Hallel Ben Shachar (satan) walking there. It would seem Adam was humankind’s representative to the Divine Council. Eve is created sometime after Adam and after the men and women from chapter 1. The Bible clearly shows there were other people created in the beginning, not just Adam and Eve.
The Hebrew for “sons of god” and “daughters of men” are completely different. The “sons of god” term is always related to spiritual beings and the “daughters of men” is referring to humans. The flood story and the Tower of Babel follow right after. These stories of humanity becoming corrupt because of fallen angels runs all throughout the bible and ancient texts. The interpretation in this video is so basic and fails to capture what the Old Testament and New Testament writers believed about giants and the rebellious angels
Ummm…your good and trustworthy god lied about the tree: “For on the day that you eat of it, you will surely die,” and the evil serpent is the one who told the truth: “the fruit is good; god just wants you dumb and ignorant.”
2 Peter 2-4: For if God spared not the *angels* that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; Jude 1-6: And the *angels* which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Genesis 19-1: The two *angels* entered Sodom in the evening as Lot was sitting at Sodom’s gate. When Lot saw them, he got up to meet them. He bowed with his face to the ground .........Verse 5 : And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are *the men* which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. Hebrews 13:2: "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." There's a obvious pattern here: Angels do dwell among men, appearing like mere men with all their attributes. It did happen before the flood, which is when those angels sinned, as Peter and Jude refered to them. What was their sin actually? The episod of Sodom and Gomorrah is a massive hint at what actually happened before the flood: sex against the order, sex outside of one's kind. Genesis 6 had angels indulging in sex with women, Genesis 19 has men having the intention to mate with angels, which prompted swift judgement through brimstone! Clearly intent to bringing back the days of mighty giants: Hybridation. Those angels Peter and Jude talk about, are the Genesis 6 angels, very clearly, and their sin was that of fornication, going after strange flesh. They're not intended for multiplication but they do have free will to brake the rules. The Sethite "sons of God" theory is plainly bad reading. At least not one that aligns with those 2 biblical authors, who clearly draw those infos from 1. Enoch and Jubilees.
Hmmm... You've given me something to think about. I'd never looked at it that way. I'd always taken the view; that Elohiym _(term used in Genesis chapter one for God),_ does not always mean God. _(Which it doesn't. It means; "One of authority and with many powers.")_ Not sure if I 100% agree with your summation, your thoughts, but there is something to them, that is logical, and cannot be denied. Some very interesting points made. And for the most part, I can agree with all of them. However, there's that unspoken of elephant _(or two)_ in the video. That is to say, chapter one and chapter two are not talking about the same thing. Chapter one is about giving purpose and function to *all of* our world. While chapters two & three are *solely* about Eden. So, two different events, at two different times.

If they were simply human then why aren’t their offspring simply human? Apologies if you mentioned the Nephilim but it seems you avoided that all together.
I don't see any clear indication in the text that they were not human. "Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown" sounds like humans to me. Same with Num 13:33.
@@MasterpieceBible Right, because if you combined any other humans on the planet you wouldn't get "mighty men" offspring. Only combining "good" boys and "bad" girls allows for offspring so mighty they have a special name for them... It just doesn't make any since whatsoever to point out their children being ANY different than any others if they were mere humans.
The genesis 6 passage says “bene Elohim” it means angelic beings. The passages he said about “sons of god” use completely different words. People need to study the word “Elohim”
@@MasterpieceBible The Context of Sons of God is not chapter 4 and 5 but Job 1:6 and and 38:7. Both verses clearly use the term Sons of God and they are with God. Verse 38:7 clearly shows they were there before creation. Most scholars believe Moses is the main writer of Genesis and they believe Job is an older or contemporary book during Moses time. He knew the term Sons of God and he knew his audience knew it.

It’s a clear distinction between Nephilim and ordinary men. They were men, but were not ordinary The Nephilim came about because the sons of God went into the daughters of men. Once again, there is a clear distinction between sons of God and daughters of men. The daughters of men are the daughters of all men. That includes Cain and Seth. One more thing, you can’t use the new Testament as context for the sons of God. The writer of Genesis, Moses did not have the New Testament, he probably did know about the book of Job. The book was around then. Also, Paul and Jesus say the sons of God will be revealed at the resurrection Luke 20: 34 and Roman’s 8:18. Men did not have the opportunity to be sons of God or adopted sons until Christ so the new testament cannot be used as context for Gen 6. Once again Job is the context.
where did Cain's wife came from? After Cain killed Abel so there were only 3 people left. Adam, Eve and Cain. Cain was expelled from garden of eden and met his wife and built city of enoch and named it after his son

Finally someone with commong sense. Christendom is filled with pagan beliefs from the heathens. Adam was the first high priest and the line continued through seth. The sons od seth abandoned their priesthood and adopted (married) pagan beliefs. The priesthood ended and there was no intercessor between god and man. Hence why the world went crazy
