Watching this now learning from it seeing that it’s eight years ago, hoping this pups old sitting by the fire, but if he’s in doggy heaven, appreciate you guys what you’ve taught me on the videos! ❤
4:18 makes me smile to see Jolie's little jump through your legs at her finish, she is beautiful. Don't let Jolie's sex deter you, just work harder and be more meticulous. I'm training Maxine (my picture), a little female from our local shelter. At 14 months old, but for assis/sit she was completely untrained and seemingly unhandled. Crazy right? After getting adopted two separate times she was returned (at two and three days🤦♀) to the shelter due to both adopter's ignorance. Sad as it was, she is better off with me.
Professional dog training has came a long way! I have trained in Schutzhunde. Imprinting and now lure! The ability to add this to understanding the dog's psychology is certainly an advantage. The end result would be a happy 'working dog'. The Belgian Malinois is the only breed I would ever consider training again! Thanks for the video! I subscribed.
This walk through is amazing just what I need. I just started 3 weeks ago and I'm so new my only issue is keeping the whistle in my mouth I'll have a panic attack.
So can the obedience be in almost any order not about 10 sec it is 10 secit starts just like flee that's it decoy is not allowed to flee on a facing exercise decoy doe not agitate he calls the dog or test the dogs line or wave clip board lol All in all no bad just missing a few things
Not a volunteer the deputy judge where is the palisade and long jump ? Not all of us do the hurdle also what if hey heel on the right? Suppose to be a natural walk Not 2 hons it's a double honkall exercise start with the separate or will not start Not a line hash marks to where you through the retrieve
I could use some clarification on the heel on leash portion. You mentioned that the judge is looking for your dog to not sit on the horn, but Your dog sat after your three steps. Is the dog allowed to sit after your three steps?
Super informative and very well made, question: do you have the option to “couche” your dog after he/she completes the first hurdle? Before the “reste” command?
Very thought out and precise description Scott. Excellent learning tool for anyone interested in French Ring or those actively participating in ringsport.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my account password. I love any tips you can offer me
Most professional why is that more dumb and fake trainer is more subscribers they have and as better they get with each level less and less views and subs😂 strange This guy is the best I have seen so far and has almost no views 🤷♂️
Impressive saw your French ring game instructions and performance wow first class Thanks Ps now it’s new standard if someone gives instructions “how to..” but haven’t had French ring completed better be quiet 🤐
I am not enthused. Am waiting on the pack commander to come out. If you cant comenin with a team of 4 or 5 dogs youre just doing a show. If you can then you know what i mean. But what do i know? Im just a carpenter.
how do you teach the dog to turn the protection off? so it can be approach, pet again and when the decoy greets the handler without any risk, how do you teach to switch off? and without changing to a different behavior like sit or down, just turn the protection off. I've seen videos where they show it, just where they tell the dog off, and the dog doesn't break the current position and only stops watching(guarding, pass auf) and they pet him like he was never a threat, they show the final behavior, many videos show how to turn the protection on but not how to turn it off, not any how it is taught....
