Thank you for a very concise and accurate video. All the known bugs specifically associated with the 2.3 upgrade have now been fixed. I can't comment on Lightning because I haven't used it yet - too busy with other Fooocus projects!

I've love trying the lcm and lightning speeds. They have issues with some models, especially some anime ones. It does work great though, I can queue 32 generations and it's unbelievably quick with even my rtx 3080.

can you make more tutorials on product photography cause it's doesn't go well with other kind of products like chocolate wrapper and other food packaging items

I'll play around with it. If I find a good way I'll make a video. Or even if I find a mediocre way. Then somebody else can figure out a way of improving it.

I will admit using a can was making it a little easy on myself. It was actually my first attempt. I tried to do it with jewelry from 3D renders but that didn't go well. The problem is products that don't have very defined shapes can be a challenge. The AI will often expand the edges when you really just wanted to generate around it.

Outpainting is terrible compared to what was before... It takes very little into account the original image. Sometimes FOOOCUS doesn't seem to understand what image it should work with. It's bananas!

I just did a quick test and I am not seeing any difference myself. If you look at the latest post on here I uploaded both the before and the after of the test image. ko-fi.com/kleebztech/posts I just went with the first images that were generated. I outpainted one side at a time for best results.

@@KLEEBZTECH Sorry, I meant INpainting. I have now also tested OUTpainting and it works fine. INpainting is a mess.

Sometimes when I use Inpaint to delete an object, it puts something else in it's place.... What is going on?

Not sure if you have seen one of my other videos that covers some inpainting but this one I do talk a little about that and some tips on removing objects. I did this video on real photos but same idea works on generated images. When you go to inpaint to remove something you will often need to adjust the prompt. For example if removing a person from a park bench you would mask them out and put in "empty park bench" or something similar. The update doing weird things on me as well... when I choose the lightning preset my image generation changes to 60 steps instead of the 4.. confusing the hell outta me.

Did you have any custom presets? The default in mine sets the performance to Lightning.

@@KLEEBZTECH just figured it out.. choosing the lightening preset then changing the " performance " to quality is what was causing the steps to become 60.. thank you for the reply. It made me think about it a bit more . Even though I've been using fooocus for a while now I still get a bit confused with some aspects of it but your vids certainly help. Much appreciated.

when I try making images with Pyracany and FaceSwap stuff, the skin ends up super smooth, almost like plastic. But I want realistic skin texture, any way to fix that?

When I try to create an image of a common object like a bike, furniture it creates a weird shape, why this happening can you tell?

I'm afraid without more details I don't think I can. Are you talking about when you just do a regular prompt? Have you changed any settings?

I can't think of any reason you would be having that experience. I know it sometimes gives weird results like in this video when I was generating images of cars they had extra wheels but usually pretty good.

I just did a test and generated some images that I had generated a week ago and got identical images. That would indicate to me that nothing has changed in that regard. Is it maybe a custom preset that got messed up maybe?

If you already have it then it usually should update itself. If downloading new, then download the file on Github and that will update when you run it.

If you already have it and not updating see if it tells you why in the CMD window. It should check for updates when it runs but some things can stop it from updating.

@@KLEEBZTECH thanks for the reply. It doesn't seem to be checking for updates for whatever reason. The only thing it downloads is the models. I did fix this however by downloading the new release manually and exporting over my old version
