I’m an intj-A my experience since I’m emotionally disconnected I find extrovert extremely dull cause they care about feelings being fake / superficial cause they will agree with everything and not have their own opinion or if they do Its similar yours which is they can’t think for themselves and constantly seek approval from others to be happy which bugS me they should just do what is right not make an show to show the world how great liars they are, I like people to be authentic, but it’s sad to say this most people are ego driven dumbasses who always want to put their two cents in after an intj speaks agreeing with them then changing things slightly so they think they are smart, I find idiots unbelievably annoying that’s why I come up with weapon systems so I can eliminate most of these mindless eaters whom just seek to annoy me an try to ignore my brilliant nature to make themselves look cool after stealing my ideas. It’s sad to say this being smart is rare and being an good friend is almost impossible almost everyone is an fake friend looking for ways to exploit others for their own benefit like the sage saying only friends betray you, this is why I don’t have friends nor speak to my family because they seek to control not to listen. Which a true friend wants you to live your life not tell you what to do.

Real INTJs do not exploit things. They acquire knowledge. Exploiting has a dishonest context, something sane INTJs do not find ethical therefore will not do it. INTJs do not work for the money or success, they work for the knowledge. Think about "Shape of my heart" from Sting.

I found that the worst and most impractical, yet most entertaining philosophy came from Nietzche, believe or not. In terms of philosophy, not to sound arrogant, but I don't believe I need to read the philosophies of others. I find I can create my own and mainly through experiencing life, building skills, knowing what works then deeply contemplating it for days, weeks months, and even years. I've been doing it this way since I was a kid. And relying on my own philosophies (by my own I mean ones I came to on my own instead of adopting it from a book) has always helped and when I try to pick it up from others it never works.

as an 23 year old INTJ I entered the collage that I am in with translation studies. this was because of my mother. after 2 years I changed departments to Linguistics. amazing area of study but I'm not an INTP so its too theoretical and my uni lacks applied focused profs. I will graduate this year to seek a career in art and culture (art history archiving or maybe museums etc.) since I already know TOO MUCH about history of religions as well as art, symbolism, ancient civilizations and occult lol. my original goal was to find what was a human like before capitalism and rationality but it got too far. I'm not complaining tho. at the end, to be a valuable employee, it's not the value of your knowledge. it's your amount of knowledge and how to differ from other competitors. in other words, it's not what you know but it is how much do you know and is it enough to be the %1 among the other ones that studies in the area. so at the end you will always be most likely to work in the area that you cannot stop learning about. edit: I think philosophy is not the blueprint but the framework or foundation which you will derive your actions from.

I dove into philosophy as a counterweight to the curriculum that my major drove. I think it was helpful in the sense of problem solving and the efforts associated. It really depends on the level of conviction. Applied theory is a very unique atena. With regard to stoicism that makes sense with you.

Q : Did you ever discover that philosophy that you decided : this is me. A : When I read some Buddha quotes in a book about mindfulness, I was thinking : this is me, I think the same. Buddhism is probably the closest to me. For College, _my first wish was : "digital creation" but I didn't get accepted _I got accepted in DUT (university diploma of technology) in computer science : I gave up after 6 months. _Later, I went to where I was good at : Arts (plastic arts), whereas I wanted Design. The first days, almost all students in Arts, we would like to be in Arts-Design, but they had to separate us in 2 different promos : Art-Design & plastic Arts. One of the subjects/classes was: "philosophy of art" Even if this Master in Art didn't really help me to get a job, I don't regret it at all. I have an atypical journey, that you could think I am Ne dom 😆

I make subtle, cerebral jokes, I watch pretty much exclusively comedy YT channels, and I'm usually the first to get a joke even in the midst of N types. I don't understand it because I have the literal thinking of a stereotypical ISTJ in almost all other aspects! Maybe it's cause I was raised to appreciate humor or it's genuinely a gift, idk. Can anyone else relate?

i think you should change your perspective of your definition for Success, goal or target. i used to do that all my life but one thing i learned is instead of seeing your future success, or goal as a target to reach, you take them as just your direction/navigation. and instead you focus on doing and acomplishing those small actions and milestones you planned day in and day out to achieve that big success. When you accomplish these tasks you know will lead to your definition of success everyday, you feel like you are leaving that dream. for example, instead of setting your goal as 170 pounds and working towards that, which you know after you reach that goal you will lose motivation etc..... what you can do is set the 170 pound as the direction you are going then plan your action s as a 170 pound man do. the exercises, the eating plan etc. . . then you do these actions starting now. eventually your goal/target wont be the thing that will drive you.... its these small day to day task that will give you those things.

The moon is definitely not a hologram - everybody now it's made of cheese. I'm an INTJ and used to scoff at conspiracy theories. I've been told in the past that I am simultaneously creative and with a stick up my arse. As I became more and more chill, and actually went on a personal rabbit hole to study something in depth and realise how easy it is that we get something completely wrong as a society, I'm open to virtually any conspiracy theory and see myself as somewhat vulnerable to them.

I think I have read arguments that the worst spouse for an ISTJ is a turbulent INTP, and guess who my spouse has to put up with? :-) At least if an INTJ is doing something speculative thinking, the product will be something that produces tangible results, perhaps extremely profitable ones. Whereas if a turbulent INTP spends years speculating on something, the result may be some theoretical idea with no immediate practical return. As an example, when Einstein's first wife and Einstein were discussing terms of her allowing him to divorce her, she demanded the money from Einstein's Nobel Prize. That is how she converted the theoretical that took years to produce to tangible for her and their children.

I think they get somehow offended or intimidated when we are thinking critically and they don't like that level of complexity so they gaslight and tell you stop analyzing or thinking so much and start acting like you are the problem. Then you get frustrated with their refusal to analyze things or have some kind of standards and trying to look at things objectively---since they prioritize nonsense and feelings and making everybody happy and superficiality and not rocking the boat---and then they get offended by your frustration with them and start telling you that you think you're so smart and other things like you have no common sense and you should know how we all feel and it's all you. So then you get sick of that baloney and try to be around people who can think better and have goals in life and standards and, in short, are passionate and think more like you, analyzing things in the world around you and figuring out why they work that way and why they Don't work that way and how it can be better and why this is a problem---and those people are pretty few and far between. I pretty much never have any issues being collegial and friendly around high perfoming, creative, intelligent people with goals or passions. The issue is when you get surrounded by muggles and then they start giving you grief when you're being yourself and trying to tell you how much you are this or that when you aren't.... and one of the ways they do this is say "Oh, you just think you are so smart and better than anyone" (when you aren't actually doing that) because they want to avoid actually dealing with any of the issues or observations you are pointing out (and just blame you for being "holier than tho"/ mr. smartypants instead). So that's where that comes from (from them) but also why we have do deal with it all the time and then start wondering if it's us somehow: the herd keeps screaming "It's YOU!" at you when you are mainly just being yourself and not actually trying to talk down to them or be negative. That's just they way they deal with their insecurity and refusal to see what they do and how actually dumb most people objectively are inside a system of systems that are all highly dysfunctional. (Avoid mentioning the dysfunction, keep everybody cheerful and liked, accept all faults and incompetence except the one that points it out: attack that one!....is their motto). See :) I solved the problem for you.

Fuck success if it means you wasted your time to be and do nothing when it means nothing. In today's world everything is shallow and if you observe with the skills at your feet you'll see that things are the way they are and only fail for the betterment of society. Whatever is the majority is the pathway it'll all seek out to be. Can't have children, can't have success when it means you've accomplished really nothing, can't have friends or family, can't have relationships, can't ever choose the wants since everything is only what is here now and that's the limit you have to choose from. Life is exhausting there's not much to do here really especially for an INTJ when one can't even fit into their community full of weak individuals with no actual strength. I find it difficult to really do anything here and this is only a select few things that have barely any explanation this is only naming these few issues.

I'm an INTJ and I noticed the point about ISTJs having layers. For example, my ISTJ friend will put on more of an extraverted feeler mask at work (I thought she was an ESFJ at first lol), but once she started getting more comfortable around me her more opinionated side came out. She also shows her rational side to me too, perhaps because I'm rational too as an INTJ. I think he is an Fi dom for sure, problably an INFP like indeed a Matt Sherman as Matt GUess has mentioned. He has the same sort of "angelic softness" too. In his first video it's often about getting somewhere with typology (Te rather than Ti). If he talks about understanding things, it may seem Ti to some but in the end it's always about human orientated (like less suffering etc aka humans (F)+ progress (Te)) rather than just getting theoretical which would be more Ti. What also seems most Fi doms _so often_ say is things like 'we're all human'. It's like going back to the concept of what a human is to begin with and then of courseyou see a lot of similarities, just as Ti reasons from the bottom an goes outwards to the superficial or visible. It starts with its basis and then builds outward, rather than Fe and Te that start from the outisde (the 'superficial/visible") an build inward. I think the reason that at least his first video is like that is just cause it comes easy to him becasue he problablt pretty good with artistic things naturally. I bet is he good at things like poetry too. What I also found FI is how he said he's gonna blow the other guy's mind by saying itst the first time him opreating a camera. It does not come across as Fe that would be aware that comes across as a sort of hidden arrogance, like fishing for a compliment . I think Fi doms can have that sort of supressed superiority/inferiority about them..like they want to be this perfect, friendly and good human, but sometimes these sort of less optimal human flaws that we all have still leak still. You can sense he's very, very self controlled..as he's purposely revealing a portion of himself, yet 80% does not let you see the real him. Also, in his expressions there is a lot of these slighly expressions of 'disguest' (although that is a strong word) that you basicaly never see in Fe/Ti axis people. They either have no expression at all (Ti) or some superficial smile or friendly expression (Fe) . However, that is expression is usually just there the whole time or not. With this guy it seemed his expression changes per word, possibly becaus ehe has an emotiona reaction to ever word he says.

There is the temptation to armchair type this lad due to the clickbait title and his stated desire to not dwell on his own type. So I apologize for taking the bait. He's an INFP type 9. Very similar to Matt Sherman in temperament. Actually, 1 video a month isn't too bad of a track record for an INFP considering inferior Te. Especially if he has a enneagram 1 wing. I also called that he would say ENTJ for the film team. And I have a feeling he will eventually find himself an adequate ENTJ mentor, as the INFP would naturally seek one out whether they realize it or not. Also, an ISTP buddy is the other secret weapon for INFP growth. Once you get past your Fi sensitivity it just works. A lot to learn from their Ti and Se as it covers your weak spots. And they can use Te well when needed. On the topic of types and innate strengths, I'll give two examples. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kobe Bryant are both typed as ENTJs. One of the greatest bodybuilders and athletes of all time are intuitive types with Se child. Put that into perspective. The more pedestrian example of this is your typical INTJ who is intrigued by their inferior function and finds great satisfaction in pursuing some sort of physical hobby--like our host here with the 5k. But at the same time, in still remains true that for every type, you have to give up something in order to specialize in one or more cognitive areas.

I’ve already made a few arguments else where in these comments but he’s not INFP. Remember first that this title is not for his own video, this is Joes channel. If anything click bait titles are indicative of ENTJs, which this guy is obviously not since he seems to value social harmony, and his own videos are not click bait. My argument before is that he must be a very social INFJ and if you consider his 1 video a month as an Se inferior this seems pretty good. He’s not Se blind like INFP because he doesn’t have that spacey dream like persona. It’s waaaaay more of a focused gaze. And for ENTJ he said he DIDNT want ENTJ on his team because they don’t get along. Interesting. The infj supervisor relationship. Worst possible match. He said something about a struggling power dynamic. Perhaps he’s ENFJ and they both want to be in charge. As far as fi sensitivity, this did not stick out at me in him. He seems actually very confident. Someone else has expressed this too that his arguments were very calm. As far as type and fitness I agree that it’s not innate in type but probably more likely in sensors. Just like some sensors can do intuitive things. But Kobe is definitely ISxP. Maybe ISFP. Arnold ENTJ makes sense but if you look at older videos of him he appears quite introverted. sfp is very possible and it’s the same Quadra just reversed.

@@Hajeem-jb2gk Language: 2:10 "I feel like...", 2:50: "I do feel like...fundamental value of mine" Eyes: looking up to the left or right when accessing thoughts (Ne). No fe expressiveness/mannerisms. Way too many appeals to credible experts (7:16: "Dario Nardi talks about..."), authority (8:25: "I think a quote by Nietschze...), and facts (Te) to point out them all during the course of this interview and in his channel's videos. He clearly values Te. His The Truth About MBTI video is all about how other people's thinking on MBTI is wrong. He is very aware of how other people think. INFJs don't know or care how other people think. They also aren't going to preach that self-observation and self-analysis will reveal the truth due to Fi-critic. An INFP would however suggest that as its their dominant drive to do so. I also don't think an INFJ would approve of the unvalidated and lazy Ti argument presented at 16:18: regarding the root cause of psychosis. 22:15: "...in the past I have had such terrible experiences with ENTJs" can not be taken in any way other than as an argument for an Si user. 24:47: "Every great writer of all time is typed as an INFP...." is a Te statement. He follows that up with "I don't know if that's true or not" which once again indicates lack of Ti. A Ti user innately knows what is true and what is false.
